The one billiard item you wish some company would make for you?

A magic pill that'll make us play like pool gods?

Anyway, im not sure. Its like everything you could want, its out there if its possible to be made. Personally id like a better tip tool, but the williards is really good as it is.

I actually wish we have some really stylish pool clothing. I am not saying what we have now is not cool, but I am thinking about something like Abercrombie, Juicy Couture, or jewelry like Chrome Heart.

Also, I want to have a tip like Moori which will not harden over time and can hold chalk really well.

I also wish to see a device which can prevent the dent under the 1 ball from getting deeper and deeper over time.

I like to find a wood sealant on the shaft which is strong enough to seal the shaft completely, but is not sticky.

I wish there was a cue finish with a memory so all the dents will disappear over time.

I wish someone could design an interchangable tip/ferrule system for shafts. I know those cheesy screw-in tips on the cues they sell in Walmart are a joke, but a really well designed high-quality system should be possible. I'd guess it would be necessary to combine the ferrule with the tip to ensure adequate solidity in the system compared to traditional methods.

If I could buy an entire replacement tip and/or tip/ferrule combo for less than a visit to the local cue mechanic and it felt no different from normal glue-on tips I'd buy it. This kind of system would also let you easily experiment with different tip types, not to mention being able to carry spares in your cue case instead of multiple shafts and to have those tips already broken in and ready to go.

One more. A virtual reality pool video device. You can put on your helmet, hold your cue, hit a cue ball with a electronic chip, and practise all your shots at home without a pool table.
By wearing the helmet, you will see the shots just as if they were real, and you can feel the shot in the virtual screen. The best part is you could do this in a very small space because a table will not be necessary. You can also choose which player you want to play with and may be play virtual pool with other players on line...there is no limit to what this can do.

Case

i want a case with a dvd player in the lid. i would want to watch videos while my opponent is shooting

How about a lap top built into your case, which would allow you to get on line and browse the Az forum while you are in a pool hall.:)

You can also listen to the radio or your favorite song for that matter.LOL

Actually, speaking of cases, we now have cases with legs, and wheels, although it was probably meant as a joke, a DVD player is not really that unrealistic.

I have a blackberry for surfing while my opponent is shooting. I often tell people that I am reading about them on the internet. Perhaps that is what I should do the next time I play- i will get online and get on the pet peeves thread and test my opponents nerves and my ability to shark. I can start by putting the chalk upside down and then progress to turning all of the weights on the housecues in different directions.

What I need is a case that has a ball polisher on there so I can make myself useful around the poolhall and make some extra money between matches. either that or i need one of those magic soapdish containers that you can use to take all of your old slivers of soap and meld them into a bar- I can do this with old chalk and make a block of chalk that I can share with the table full of five frat brothers who are gangbanging an eightball rack on the wrong side of the table.

a good, modern looking case with a built in stand for under $100. my current case has a stand, but its looks leave something to be desired.

I like the idea of a screw on tip.

Come to think of it, if we can screw a shaft to a butt, why can't we screw a ferrule to a shaft without gluing it?

After each game, the balls will return to the tray, and then with a push of a button, they will be cleaned by the built in ball cleaner located in the tray.

Quick Clean will be sprayed through some small nozzles under the rails, and the table will be wiped with a mechnical sponge reaching down from above. Everything will be cleaned in less than 5 minutes.

Let the next game begin!

Seriously, an affordable ball cleaner. I've found 2 catagories of cleaners on the net....$50 toy for home you put on a drill,.....and $450! Nothing in between. There is a market for a ball cleaner for home use that costs about $125. I'm very particular about clean equipment, and no lie, everything gets cleaned after each use in my house!;)

I like that Idea, more so about the automatic ball cleaner. How about set a timer on the table to have it do it every 6 hours when the table is not in use.
