I'm telling you, this new online poolgame is the NUTS!!!! I just got done playing a tournament with a FREE entry, it had around 50 players. 1st place was like $30 USD. I took 5/6th and made $12 I think. The physics are almost perfect! The only flaws I noticed is that some shots that you can shorten up with reverse english when you are kicking into the rail, it over-exaggerates it somewhat. Otherwise, it's pretty much flawless physics. One BIG problem is the break in 9-ball. Remember, this game is very new and they are still working on it. The break isn't randomized, so if you figure out how to make the 9 on the break, if you can put the cueball in that exact spot every time and hit the 1ball on the exact spot every time, the 9 will kiss off another ball and go in all the time. If you hit the same spot on the head ball with the same speed, you will get the same spread after the break. I talked to one of the developers of the game on the chatline, and he said that they are working on randomizing the break like in real life.

If you know how to play the game, and you don't have time to get to a real table, PLAY THIS! I guarantee you will love it. If you know how to run racks, once you get used to speed control, YOU WILL RUN RACKS.

We can even make our own league, and play against other leagues. Not only that, but soon this site will be hosting the first ever official ONLINE WORLD POOL CHAMPIONSHIP, with REAL CASH PRIZES.

THIS IS NOT A PLUG. I am not advertising for them because they are my friends, or something like that. I really am THAT ENTHUSIASTIC about this game. Its awesome! Everything is totally FREE. If you win a tournament, they deposit the money into your paypal account.

Lets make our own AZBilliards league!!!

Thanks for the link, I had a quick go with the practice table and I agree it's the most realistic I,ve seen by far. Will check it out more later.

That is probably the most realistic . It does take lil time to get use to it though. Thanks for the link..................

I will probably go play a little bit in an hour if anyone sees me there we can play a set or two.;)

I've been playing there since your earlier post under the name TX_Poolnut. I've run across Sore_Aintya there and he was using the screen name Sore_Aintya. BTW, he completely owned me in a race to 9 9-ball. There is no way to jack up the butt of your cue to induce a curve or masse. The vast majority of the folks there are from Europe and seem to know each other. Be careful who you gamble with because I've heard of several instances there where people haven't paid up after losing. Cuetech, what is your screen name there? And anyone else from AZB, what are your screen names? I agree the physics are top notch except there is zero cue deflection. My absolute favorite thing to do at that site is to go to the practice tables and play one pocket against myself. Just like in real life, it helped my online game tremendously.

I signed up a little while ago as BillyKoda and played 2 games against this guy, he seemed a little aggravated that I played a little slow. It'll take a while for this older guy (ME) to learn the applet!! I went 1/1 in a 8-ball.

This is all I needed? another thing on the Internet to get somewhat addicted to!

BK

PS Is there anyway to just watch a table for a while? The help is not very detailed yet.

TX_Poolnut and I have a race to 9 going and will finish soon. Score is 6-5 my lead.

We should set up a little az tournament. Whoever wants to join can and we could have a week or so to get the tournament done. It could probably take less, but we need to have both players online at the same time.

There are alot of cool features. On the practice table, click on drill set ups, and there are like 15 different types of drills. Also on the practice table, to get used to a shot, you can click on something to set up a shot over again in the same position, so you try it with every type of english and speed.

If you play 8-ball, you can change the colors of the balls to just red and blue, pink and purple, etc., kinds of make it easier if it strains your eyes. I'm sure there are alot of other features I don't know about yet.
