I was suppose to play this guy in the AZ King Of MN he challenged me for. I didn't really care about it, but I was willing and able to play.

I know this doesn't really count, but he would have beaten me if we would have played. Funny thing is that he is from about an hour from me, and nobody seems to know who he is....that is if he is using his real name.
 
I was on that thread when it happened. Unless soft shot has some bad history with Mr. B., there was no reason for it other than a troll ambush.

Bartam plays champions. He is a true grinder and a winner and this nobody comes on here and starts keyboarding trash Bartrams way. What a tool. Thats the equivalent of some guy who played a little quarterback on the JV team back in highschool challenging peyton manning. Again, what a tool.

My Issue with Bartram ... I'm not new to this forum I have been a member for years.. and read it a year before that..
I have seen Chris post time and time again .. scoffing at league players... scoffing at instructors.... scoffing at people who practice.. with the if you don't gamble you can't play and that whole line of bullshit... anyone who works on their game and tries to get better.. is just a fish.... if you don't have natural talent and gamble everyday you have no hope... ect.. ect..

In 2006 I couldn't play a lick.. I joined a league team.. and as Tanco loves to tell everyone who will listen... I was a 50% shooter in a weak league..( that phrase is on a plaque over the spot where I hang my rack so I see it every time I rack the balls... thanks Tanco... I still wouldn't cross the street to spit on your corpse.. but at least you provided some motivation)

I'm too old for this game I was 36 when I started and I am almost 2 weeks away from my 41st birthday.. ( wayyyy to old to ever get decent... right???)

I got the bug and decided to get good at this.. and I did.. I read every book I could get my hands on.. actually that's not true I don't "read" books on pool... I memorize them.. hell 99 critical shots alone is a tattered wreck falling apart and I bought it brand new off the shelf in 06.

I hired a world class coach to get my mechanics right and he did...I get up 2 hours early every morning just to get my base workout table time in.. I've never missed 2 days in a row for the past 3 years.. and I have records to prove it...

then you have Chris spouting off in instructional threads ... he never gives any info... just insults and backhanded compliments.. laughing at the people who work so hard at their game...and it pisses me off..

well I've reached my goal.. I am as good as anyone.. I'm better that 99+% of all you azb'ers and 90% of those are action hounds and degenerate gamblers so I took a swing at your hero.. I don't have the cash to bet up to Bartram standards.. but then again he cant hit the balls up to my standards...take that to the bank..

so after a few cocktails... I got on him after yet another joke/comment chucking at the people who are trying improve..

by the end of 2011 you will ALL know my name... count on it..

so there you have it.

Hey softshot, this isn't to attack you. I'm sure you stand behind your words and maybe can back them up. You sound very confident in your skills and I just love watching good pool. Bart said he would play you for free. Let's stream it. This could be a great match. Please don't feel the need to defend yourself. Do it on the table. Only thing I can say about Bart is that if he was a sleaze ball hustler, he wouldn't have the reputation he has. Sounds like you both have heart.
