The REAL problem with pool

I believe that the true problem with pool is the inner turmoil caused by many of those who love and enjoy the various games. There are endless posts here of people that find it necessary to degrade leagues, players, games, and equipment that they don't like. Rather than just let others enjoy the sport in their own way; they try to make themselves feel better by belittling others. If you were new to the sport; would you want any part of pool after seeing the actions and thoughts of those who claim to love pool? Next time someone asks a simple question about equipment, leagues or whatever; try to keep your input to positive, usefulinformation. Help to make pool better for all rather than tear it down.

I agree with most of what you said, but input should not just be positive. Input should be truthful...not over or under blown, just the plain truth. If a particular league, cuemaker or whatever about pool is no good then I would rather know and join another than to be snookerd by it.

Secondly this is not the problem with pool to begin with, most of the people that do post here are head over heels with the game. Not to mention that many other aspects involved with the game like TAR and others are basically supported and funded by all of us here on AZBILLIARDS, without AZ no one would know WTF TAR and OTR and many cuemakers etc...were/are .

The biggest problem with the sport is the powers that be fighting each other instead of all getting together to stride forward, instead they butt heads or don't do anything except whats good for them. It may be an individual sport, but there has to be more teamwork in the corporate levels to progress the game.

Hey....lets not forget other cue games than just pool....you think this is just a pool problem...... ALL CUE SPORTS are dysfunctional familiesjoin the crowd.....MY MANTRA IZZZ: stick and ball games on a table with bounderies come basically from the same myth and no matter what the physical form the game takes, the mentality is the same.....THE GAME is unfortunately misunderstood by at least 85% of the people who think they can play it and thus neglect the 15 % of us who have become monks for the cause.....mushrooms.......
