The road scholars DVD is a fantastic opportunity to be a "fly on the wall" as some of the greatest road agents ever to play gather and tell stories, jokes and camaraderie.

Billy Incardona, Wade Crane, Ed Kelly, Grady, Ronnie Allen, Truman Hogue, Freddy the Beard and Vernon Elliott tell stories in the company of Jimmy Fusco, Jimmy Reid and Danny Diliberto.

They are real stories, albeit told after a few drinks, and the sentiments and laughs are touching. This disc is a piece of history and a rare glimpse of these guys talking in a fun relaxed manner. The 60+ minutes of content and still pics are priceless.

Diana Hoppe and some of the players will have them at the Derby City Classic. I enjoyed the production very much.

The discs will be available at the One Pocket Hall of Fame dinner and at the Poolpics booth at the Derby. Hoppe says she will take orders over the phone or by e-mail too.

This disc is not available anywhere else at this time so call her to place an order if you want one. I do not know what the selling price will be. If this project is anything like others she has put together, demand will be greater than supply.
 
Ditto about ordering online..

This is something that I would have loved to have done but basically never got off my ass to figure out how. Not only does it give players today a glimpse of yesterdays scene it preserves the games history.

I first watched one of these type DVDs of my favorite college football teams greats. To have the greats sitting there telling stories that had never been told or giving you insight to behind the scenes happenings was great.
I can only imagine that the pool stories would be equal if not better.

5 Stars to whoever put this together.

Hopefully we can order online IF NOT if there is anyone going to the DCC that is willing to buy one there and ship to me let me know. I will paypal or MO the $$$$ needed.
