So, then......where is the Gold Crown V being made nowadays if its now back in the states?
It's being replaced with the GCVl and according to Brunswick's press release, all their line of pool tables are now being built at their factory that they build their fitness equipment at.
And where might that be?
I subscribe to P&B and BD, haven't seen anything about a new GCVI. Have I missed it? Or will it be forthcoming soon?

This article is from 2015, and really doesn't come out and say all Brunswick pool tables will now be made in the USA. If you parse the wording carefully, they've left a lot of wiggle room in the verbiage.
I for one am not buying it until I see something a lot more definitive than this. I've scoured the internet, including Brunswick's site, and can find nary a peep. Logic would tell you that if Brunswick were back to manufacturing their tables in the USA they'd be shouting it from the rooftops.

Right mchnhed, but wouldn't it make sense that if Brunswick had actually moved it's pool table production back to the USA that it would be huge news in the industry, and not just pretty much a footnote? Olhausen has to have been beating them over the head with the China thing for a long time now and I'm sure Brunswick would at least make prominent mention of it on their website and in their advertising.
Edited to add: Come to think of it, I spoke to a person named Susan Vargas at Brunswick HQ on June 9th of this year who assured me that each and every Brunswick pool table, including the Gold Crown, was "globally sourced". So there we have it.

What's totally American made anymore? Quality comes from the workers who build the product, not where it's built at.
I certainly agree with that, Glen.
But a "Made in America" label on Brunswick tables would surely impact their standing in the marketplace.
I think it is really awesome that you have multiple names that can pat each other on the back.
How's that, their American pricing is the best sales promotion to buy Chinese built imports. That's why almost everything is built with something from out of country. Even a Cadillac Escalade is held together with nuts & bolts made in China, imagine how much more that price sticker would go up if all the nuts & bolts were American made. Americans want paid as much as they can get, but when it comes to spending, for the most part, they want the best they can get, for the least amount spent. Why do you think imported products have done so well, while American companies are dropping like flys sprayed with Raid, or they've made the choice to move their product production out of country....because of the American buyers, that's why. Even Diamond pool tables are not 100% American made, that's impossible today. Everyone raves about Brunswick centennial balls being the best made ever....not American made, Simonis cloth, rail cushions....not American made.

Glen, I don't yet, and that's my interest in this. I have several months before our new house is finished with a room to accommodate a table so I'm using this time to try and find the best option for me in a 9 footer. The most obvious choice, a GC, is scarcer than hen's teeth in my part of the country so I'm having to consider all options.
So I'm open until I run out of time, and I'm attempting to educate myself so as to make the best choice. I've considered, in no particular order: new/used Olhausens, restored Anniversaries, new Diamonds, new Brunswicks and others. But each option comes with limitations and the search has been a real education so far.
What are your parameters for a pool table?
