Hey there Sherlock, that would be too simple!

It gets you to a page but not the entire site.

Hey Icon, better be careful this thread will attract the cue design police. Oh wait... no it wont. He owns a Schick, so he will stay away.

It's really sad that you keep trying to push buttons Joe, sorry I hurt your feelings, I guess it really touched a nerve when I pointed out that you aren't who you want everyone here to think you are. Really am sorry you're a nice guy when you're not all tied up in trying to be such a big shot.

As far as the cues go, I think I've made my point that I don't agree with people making copies of designs, the funny thing is none of these are exact copies and seeing them next to each other makes that point clear. Not to mention they were made as copies, so I was happy to see the changes each maker did to seperate them, even if it was very slight. I've said it over and over, and I know you and a few others have tried to twist and ignore, but I'll say it again. It's not my place to say what is acceptable and what isn't. I can only give my opinion and it's only worth as much as the next guys, unless of course you're the guy who came up with the design. I don't know that I've ever talked about owning any Schicks here or not but I do know for sure that I have said over and over and over that design copies are wrong NO MATTER WHO DOES IT.

I know Joe will ignore that last line and he'll continue to hold his third grade grudge, but believe it or not he's a nice guy when he's not trying to impress us all :-)

Jim,
Sorry to disappoint you, but when I know someone lies, it doesn't touch a nerve. I need to consider the source. But thanks again for proving my point, both other threads you made an idiot of yourself on, were no more or no less copies than these three. But it didn't stop you from being an idiot, none the less. Again you prove my point.

yes i agree.

but on jimbos defense i think hes refering to copying the szamboti !!!

he has conviently left out the other 2 being copys, design.... veneer colors.... right down to the name engraved on the but cap. maybee theyr to far apart for him to compare.

OH WAIT i just noticed the one has extra inlays at the tips of the points and the joint rings are different.... my bad completly original designs not even boti inspired here.

these are not even close to the all the cues JIMBO says are sw copys.

like i said before it must be nice to be the one drawing the like.

p.s. please dont call me any names im very sensitive.

Joe you never disappoint, you are very predictable, but I guess I don't really expect much from you, after all I'm one of the few who know how much of a clueless puppet you truly are. I would explain things better to you, but understanding them would not help you or your boss’s agenda, so I know it will never get threw either of your heads. The fact that this is a very basic cue and the others were very complex designs would play into things, but again that doesn't suite your (or should I say your boss’s) agenda. I have said over and over again that it's not really up to my judgment, I give my opinion, you disagree with it, but you aren't man enough (or should I say Mark isn't) to listen to other people's opinions, so you attack. You are so worried that something you say will come back against you that you stick to your guns no matter how obviously wrong you are and no matter how much you want to admit that you understand my point. We happen to disagree on the cue design issue, I've talked with many of the top makers and legends in the industry and they agree with me, you (by you I mean Mark since you are just the puppet) try to force people to make these copies so you (read Mark) can profit. Anyone who looks at both sides can make up their own minds as to who here has an agenda. Keep trying to drag me into each and every thread and I will continue to expose you (and your boss Mark) threw the mud. I don't mind at all Joe, I don't profit from my opinions, you on the other hand try to profit from your lies.

I don't need you defending me, feel free to form your own opinion and post it, I'll listen to your point of view, it doesn't need to be the same as mine. I promise not to take offense.

he has conviently left out the other 2 being copys, design.... veneer colors.... right down to the name engraved on the but cap. maybee theyr to far apart for him to compare.

Looking at the 3 cues the Hercek and the Schick look more like copies, other then the spears on the points, but still the diamonds are not exact. But the Boti has different veneer colors and the butt inlays are very different, yet you can still see they are all the same design. All this being said the issue would come down to the design and who's it is. Maybe the owner came up with it and asked all 3 makers to do it. Again I have my opinion on it, I am one man and my opinion has remained consistent. I don't like when it's done, I don't care for those 3 cues being so close. I don't own them, Scott does. I don't know the story of how they came to be or who came up with the design, but aside from having all the facts I'll repeat CUE DESIGN THEFT IS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO DOES IT. Sorry that my opinion bothers you so much, I don't believe I'll be changing my mind anytime soon.

OH WAIT i just noticed the one has extra inlays at the tips of the points and the joint rings are different.... my bad completly original designs not even boti inspired here.

Here's where you expose yourself as a complete ass, in other threads you defended copies with this, now you try to use it against me. These designs are very basic, the others were very complex. You want to hide behind the slight changes feel free, I'll stick with my opinion. I just wish you would have an opinion for once and stop trying to attack me for mine. You disagree with me, get over it, speak your mind, leave my thoughts out of your head. It's very nice that i take up so much of your time, it's nice to have a fan club.

these are not even close to the all the cues JIMBO says are sw copys.

JimBo, JimBo, JimBo LOL form your own opinions please, leave me out of it, you can be sure I will speak up when need be, no need to bait me.

like i said before it must be nice to be the one drawing the like.

Like I said before, it must be nice to have selective reading comprehension. Many times I have said I am not the one to draw the line, just the one giving his opinion. Something you don't seem willing to do. Don't worry Merry, stay in the middle, try not to offend anyone, it's safe there in the middle. I don't have much respect for you or your lack of opinion, but I'm sure you won't piss anyone off.

p.s. please dont call me any names im very sensitive.

It's tough to have an opinion when you are sensitive, good thing I don't have that problem.

My boss's agenda.. thats funny. You know, and I know, these are MY opinions. Just like its my opinion that I prefer the old classic styles to the new CNC made cues. So when I get them made, they are for me. You cannot expose whats not there, but if you lie long enough, you will eventually believe you are telling the truth.
Do I get them made "classic" looking for resale, hell yes. But what, should I deal cues for losses? Woohoo thats me, I sell cues to lose money!!! You're an idiot. I guess you work the bar for free also.. I thought so.

It maybe, but at least the cuemakers I resell know I am doing whats right for THEM and not giving away their cues in trades for 1/2 of what the retail value is. But again, I am not dealing junk either.

The market will bear what it will bear, supply and demand, simple as that. It isn't rocket science.

I just checked my junk, I'm so ashamed of the two Herceks, the Tascarella, the Schick, the Lambros, the two Gilberts, the Scruggs, among others. Damn, I just shed a tear, how will I be able to go on?

And to be clear, you do not do what is right for them, but it does sounds so noble though. You do what is right by YOU. Feel free to keep kidding yourself if you like, it makes for some interesting, if not comical discussion.

jimbo, i appologize for my earlier post, but from your first 2 sentences-second paragraph i though you were ok with these designs.

it still doesnt make sence though cause those other cues you talked about didnt look like copys to me, or at least not as much as these.

maybee you could post those side by side so it would be easier to see the differences or similarities your talking about.

thanks for the help
