true, but dom actually played very well. he is one of those old guys that can have a burst of inspired play in a few matches. upsets are further accented by the fact that noone ever takes him seriously i guess

Just overall this season Neil has been off the boil.
He had been sick a bit, which doesn't help.
Still, if he can get 2 months of playing well in ahead of World Champs, that is the one he wants the most.
It is really playing on his mind.
When he appeared on Stephen Henry's new Youtube channel, that 1 World title is not enough to be regarded as one of the greatest of all time. So he puts huge pressure on himself.
The Crucible layout has always bothered him as well, he has trouble walking into shots.
Anyway, form comes and goes.
He is a long way off being done with playing, so I expect him to surge again at some point soon.
