The Worlds Greatest Player vs. The Peoples Champion II

Congrats on getting this put together, Mike.

Shame there can be only one winner.

I don't know about that, the whole freaking community just won bigtime IMO. :)

Thank Mike, Good Luck to both Earl and SVB, may they both shoot their absolute best and give us all a match we can watch in absolute shock at the level of play.

I don't know about that.....I'll bet there was an earthquake that may have been pretty close.

They have a match on youtube against each other. Earl wins. And keep in mind, Earl's peak, his absolute prime was in the early 90's, that was when I saw him shoot his absolutely most dominant pool ever. Earl circa 1990-1992 was the best Earl I ever saw pick up a cue.

Of all the footage of Keith I have seen I have never seen anything even close to Earl's peak level of play (and I mean no offense to this, the ONLY person I have seen close to that level was Efren). Plus keep in mind, Keith was the best "bar box" player in the world, Earl played on the 9-foots. Keith was "never" the most dominant 9-foot player of any era. There was always a Buddy Hall or a Jose Parica and the like to make sure of that.

If I had the money I would back shane against any of these players without a second thought.

And for the record, and IMO, the only chance in hell Earl has is if shane has an off day.

Pagaylan and Corteza have beat SVB in extending races, correct?
