The worst back to back bad roll ever?

I was playing Hippie Greg Nine ball on a 4 1/2 X 9 about 20 years ago. He shot the 9 Ball in the corner pocket and it hung up in the pocket. The cue ball ended up in the opposite corner pocket. I ended up corner hooked on the opposite corner pocket. I shot a masse at the opposite side pocket and the cue ball turned just before the side pocket and went straight down the rail. I made the 9 Ball and yes the cue ball followed it in.

I don't remember ever seeing a worse back to back bad roll. HAVE YOU?

I love to see Cory Deuel get bad rolls. Not because I dislike him or anything, I enjoy watching him invent ways to get out of those situations.

I wouldn't consider it a bad roll.... you got back to the table and had a chance to win the game. The poor chance you had is still better than no chance at all. If you scratched on the shot, you obviously did not hit a good shot... almost a great shot, but really no different than if you didn't hit the 9 at all.

THe scratch isn't a bad roll, the ball did just what you made it do.

SHORTSIDE K: I must admit you are ABSOLUTLEY RIGHT!

For twenty years I have thought that was the worse two rolls I have ever seen. NOT ANY MORE!

Thank your for your excellent explanation on how the game actually ended. Its funny how a subjective mind can analyze incorrectly.

Sincerely,
