Next time you are coming in Croatia don't use wheelbarrow. You can easily get by plane in less than one hour from Dobrovnik to Zagreb for less than 30$ or somewhere around. Also, let me know if you would need tourist guide. There are many beautiful places to see.Hope you like the food as well.
Regards

Now you are talking! I am just a dumb American but my great-grandfather Poscualle Aguzin immigrated to Galveston, TX from Dubrovnik in the later 1800's. My great-grandmother, Magdalena Racic (his wife) and he both died in The Great Hurricane of 1900. My grandfather at 16 years of age was the only survivor of our family so little is known about the time that they spent in Dubrovnik.

I often think of visiting Dubrovnik. MANY descendants of Croatians live in my part of the United States. (Coastal Louisiana).

Maybe when you have a big pool tournament, the promoter can hire me to do Live Stream pool commentary to develop an international audience. Yes, that ought to seal the deal.

It is always pleasure to hear from people who has Croatian roots.Yes,there are a lot of Croatians all over the States.I hope you'll make one day and visit what you were been planning to.Also,we will try to make something out and hire you and invite you to do something about pool here.Definitely it is needed. It would be pleasure to guide you thru your roots county from one side. And yes, there are many beautiful things to see here.
Also,be very thankful to your family they didn't stay here because otherwise you would have some real hard time making money and living in general over here and especially in pool,so probably you wouldn't have pool as your job, love and hobby.Probably you would have some other interests.Everything here seems to be complicated and last much longer than every where else.Bureaucracy is slow and tight, taxes are high and salaries are very low.But to come here in retirement or when you made money, that would be terrific. And food is amazing, hope you've heard of.
Regards

I like your style brother  very funny

Qmejker, this story is about get mad on me because I put these worldwide even I didn't post his name. But,funny is that bad organization and even worse pool scene in our domestic pool doesn't bother him at all.The same as doesn't concern him at all that prize money for the first place on our national tournaments or better to say on Elementary School Tour is 150$.I am talking this because his primary interest is in playing and shortening cues is only at the second place regarding to importance.
If you want to know why is our tour calls Elementary School Tour,I'll tell you why.It is because if you want to find yourself a job and place at Croatian Pool Association and work something there, or volunteer from some reason, you must have finished just or only Elementary School or you must at least attending it.It is possible to don't have any school at all also. But with finishing this particular school and signing up for Grammary(High School)you loose your wright for having a job in our pool association. But, you must know the most of letters. The same as in politics I suppose, here. But all of you probably have already known that,so the only more thing I would like to add is come on you all in Croatia if you know the most of letters in your own language and if you are Elementary Schooler you will be kings here.
Hope, that now you could see how important Elementary school is here.
Thanks

So,people get disturbed when they get any criticism for their work or on themselves even nobody else doesn't know who we are talking about and even if that doesn't affect on quantity of their work in the future. But people doesn't get disturbed when others manage and navigate their lives even if that sling them into a dike. That's why we live this way.
However, here it is the matter of mentality.During the past and the time when we were under a communism regime people wasn't aloud to say anything against government or against the way they were living, and they were afraid of everything and of everyone. So,still there are some remains of those times in our heads and it will be for few next generation as well.
Only in the last period of time consumers have become more conscious, aware of rights they really have.
Last 10,15 years you could easily scam people and stay uncharged, verbatim. So the rights that Banks,Tele Companies,Tax offices, customs,Bailiffs,Notaries,Social and Health Funds and of course Politicians have had here during the past period are huge-massive.Much bigger than in any civilized countries. We have been used by them for more than decade.Only, lately some things have started to change.
But only because we have touched the bottom.
Hope that in the future it will be less and less countries where you will be able to find a decent job only if you have only and just Elementary School, since it is not good for clever people to be hired at high positions how they wouldn't see and understand what is going on and what are they doing!!!!

My wifes sister

There is a guy in Craotia who will shorten your cue for no extra charge.Only what you have to say to him before replacing the ferrule is "Please replace me this ferrule for another one".After the job is done you will see that your cues is no longer 58 or 59 inches as it was before. It will be at least two inches shorter. So,instead of telling him to build you a jump cue,you can say to him to replace your ferrule 3,4 times and you will have jump cue for the price of three, four replacements. If you will need more informations of this guy please PM me.
