In the quarterfinals of the Dutch nationals for ladies, Therese Klompenhouwer had a terrific match: 30 in 14 (2.142). Her previous highest match average was 45 in 22 (2.045). She is of course the big favorite for the title. Semifinals tomorrow: Klompenhouwer - Eckel and van Hamond - Jetten.

Jetten didn't play badly in the finals (by US standards) averaging 0.923. I see that the scorekeeper marked the wrong number of innings for her.
Congrats to Therese. Do you know her final grand average? She must be looking forward to Japan.
I had noticed the mistake. Therese had 1.064 general average, and looks ready for Tokyo.
looks like the lowest was 1.5 in the 4th innning.
