They never saw the $$$$....

You know, Pii, if I had to come on a forum and talk about people's pasts, if I was to tell everything that I know about everybody, the list would be from here in DC to where you live. I wouldn't lower myself to do that. It is disrespectful and not the right thing to do.

You don't have to respect me or Jennie. I don't think you know either of us, to tell you the truth. It seems like you have a bitterness about you.

As far as me being a good catch or a bad catch, just for your information, I'm a very talented person. There's a lot of qualities about me that you don't know about.

I used to ride horses for years from 4 o'clock in the morning until 6 o'clock in the evening for some of the best trainers in the world when pool got sour. Nobody would play me because I was too good, and I had to give up too much weight and couldn't make no money. The pool politics were in full force. So I went a different direction. I worked for D. Wayne Lucas and Laz Barrera. Those are two of some of the best horse trainers in the country, and Lucas is still training today. I used to work his 2-year-olds over there at Los Alamitos and San Anita. That's just one talent I have, sir.

I am who I am, and my life is what it is. I'm 51 years old today, and I would just like to be able to live what years I have left not defending myself on AzBilliards every time I look up. There's a lot of people that have pasts, but you have selected me to try to discredit me as a human being. So do me a favor and just keep my name out of your conversation. I don't want to participate like this, so you won't have to worry about reading my words. I have about had it on AzBilliards anyway.

Keith,

I'm a little older than you but I believe we've been playing the game about the same amount of time ( late 60's, 70's and beyond).

Life and this game have taught me a lot about people. You see ever level of life in the pool world and one of the worst is the type of person who is so weak, envious and jealous of what other people have accomplished in their lives that it seems their only goal is to try and bring others around them down to their level.

Bud, believe when I say for every one of these characters, there are thousands who would have given anything to have stood for one hour in your shoes and to have seen through your eyes the things you have accomplished in your life.

My personal favorite experience was the first time I ever saw you play and winning the one pocket at the Red's tourney in Houston in the mid 80's in about 20 minutes. WOW! It still brings back great memories!

So, swat this bug away cuz he's already shown what he's made of. There's a lot more folks that want you to stay around and show what you're made of!

"POOL" forum

Last time I checked, this was in fact a forum regarding pool and billiard games.

Not the " oooh, guess what he did back in '72 at the Stones concert?" forum! Or for that matter, anything that anyone here does outside of pool is not that interesting to me, ON THIS FORUM.

I do not know many pro players personally. I have never met Keith or John Schmidt, or many of the pros that still post here. I do however want them to continue to contribute to this forum without having to do time for things that happened away from this game.

Having them accessible here is a step in keeping this that we love, ALIVE!

Aren't we all complaining about how nobody ever gives back? Everyone is out for themselves? Guess what? HAVING THESE GUYS AND LADIES HERE ON THESE FORUMS IS ANOTHER WAY TO PROMOTE POOL!

If you have a personal problem with a player, then so be it. Take your ball and go home! The rest of us will be fine without you.

The billiard/pool world, just like the internet, is a microcosm of society. If you can't get along.....then just MOVE ALONG!

Speaking of having you, I don't know if you have noticed that I "volunteered" you to back me for 10K in another thread. Not to worry though, the game is one-pocket playing John Schmidt even.
