The point was you insulted someone for not having skill enough for a "real job".

Hmmm it's ok for your boyfriend to do it but its not for others . you seem to have a double standard there. Do you think there is only one skill in the world?

And Keith's great ability has nothing to do with you insulting someone else nor does it make his job anymore "real" than the person you flamed.

I'm sure we can find many people that don't think pool is a "real" job.

Well, Pii, just another example of AzBilliards at its best. You have to come on a website and try to put me down. I hate reading this crap. Seems like every time I look up now, there's some crackpot trying to get notoriety for himself. I thought this was supposed to be some type of a fun forum where people communicate with each other. I guess I am a fool for expecting that when a tournament is over the players who win get paid. Ooo, great, I am going to pay you 70% because I got bailed out and now everthing is great, please, wheres the responsiblity and why cant we expect it without being slammed?

Hello Kieth or JAM who I'm sure is really typing this. But if you read my post I didn't put you down I merely stated some FACTS. Are you saying you don't have a rep for habits other than pool?

As for my ""phoney ass post" well perhaps you could explain that, nor do I care who you associate me with. I'm sorry if you can't realize you have some serious flaws but that's not my fault and if you read my post you would have seen I think your game is great and your very fun to watch but you are in fact known quite well for your long time parting habits and there is nothing phoney about that nor does any of it have to do with JAM insulting others and then acting like it wasn't an insult.

As for your last paragraph, well all I can say is I guess you both missed the entire point (not surprising)...that being.. JAM has a double standard and while you may be a great pool player/gambler I doubt there are to many that would consider you a "catch" or that you have any other "real" skills to get a "Real" job.

Maybe the two of you think the only real job is "pool" I don't know but I can assure you it is not.

How is it your job to point out someone's 'flaws'? Especially on a public forum! Everyone has made mistakes in their life, you included.

If I saw your Mom blowing the neighbor....should I post it on the forum? Just exactly how much would you appreciate it? Is it anyone's business besides your Mom's and the neighbor? (well, maybe your Dad's business) Although it would be a 'FACT', I don't think you would appreciate it too much....

One more thing....how do know anything you insinuated was 'FACT'....you don't.

about the tournament, but quite frankly, if I was airbarreled in a tournament, I would drop a call to my brother, and have him file a lawsuit for the money, and to the DA for conspiracy to commit fraud.

These promoters only get away with this because people let them. If they were held accountable, and had to incur legal costs on top, they might take it more seriously. I guarantee you if they had to liquidate some assests to pay off a tournament, they would think twice before airbarreling someone.

Pii - Who are you to sit in judgment of Keith or Jenny? Stop with the insinuations and nuances. You better worry about yourself, and quit worrying about them, they do just fine.

You make one foolish post after another. Please read that last sentence as many times as necessary to comprehend it. You may or may not be a fool, you know that far better than I do. However I have never made any judgment concerning you, only your posts in this thread which continue to be foolish. Waiting a week and a half to post this same tired BS without a whisper out of Jay or the players in the thread is a foolish action also.

They have accepted a deal that is legally binding on all parties that will get them paid in full with better interest on 30% of their monies than they are likely to get anywhere else. If not they have legal paper and legal recourse. The matter is closed except for one lone voice who doesn't comprehend that it is over. A man with a good reputation in pool made a mistake, several in fact. He has rectified them to the best of his ability. He isn't likely to make the same mistakes again. That is truly the end of the story unless the players or Jay decide to take it further if their payments aren't received in a timely manner. You continue to ignore all of the published facts concerning this matter. You are also lacking other information that was readily available for the asking making your posts appear even more foolish to those that know more of the story.

There was one perfect man on this entire earth in the entire history of the world. We crucified him. There is a lesson in this. I don't rush to judge anyone. I have to admit that my opinion of you grows lower with every post you make in this thread but nowhere have I made the judgment that you are a fool nor will I based on this one thread. Your posts here are foolish in the extreme and also indicate that you lack good judgment. We are all represented by our posts on these forums. Is this truly how you want to represent yourself or has pride gotten in the way of common sense and good judgment?

Never saw the $$$, last week I posted a thread that said "Show me the $$$" After 2700 views and 4 pages of guesses, only JAM had it right-unless I missed a post. None of the top finishers in Phoneix last week got paid, Saez cashed his check, Archer told me "Hell I would have done better if I took 9th, instread of winning it".

I made the thread to put Chuck Bobbett on notice that he might draw some attention and not himself any favors by stiffing everyone, well he did.


I sat back this past week and listened to everyone and man this guy has more excuses that anyone ever, he was telling some people that he wired the $$$, then was producing phony bank statments, saying he couldnt FAX things etc. He just cornered himself after a week of lies,

its a shame that the players were robbed,


to be clear Mark known here as bfdlad, had nothing to this. He is 100% STAND UP GUY, SO DONT CONFUS HIM WITH THE OTHER GUY WHO WAS HAVING EVENTS IN THE SAME CITY AT THE SAME TIME.

How does Fatboy fit in? I don't. I had nothig to do with this except making the arrangments for one player to come out play in it and not get paid, he is my friend and 2 other guys on the list as well are friends. I dont like to see people or my friends get robbed. This Chuck guy took the gate $$$, entrance $$$, etc and rat holed as much as he could after paying the lower places. So I sat back for a week watched. listened and sadly realized that Chuck should probably pay his debts, which include my friends, i'm a loyal friend. Otherwise it just makes me sick to see a guy air-barrel a tournment with a $400 entry fee, these guys spend almost a dime to get there for this???? no way can this be let to rest. so I made it public, i'm done with it from here.

The Police dept Check Fraud Unit will be all over this one, they like big press releases and when someone willingfully writes about $30,000 in hot checks in one day to 6 or 7 people they wont waste time. So Chuck stop the bullshit and and the bleeding and find the $$$. Chuck I wont put a google map to your house or the business you own as I feel that wouldnt be right.....yet. :eek:

You know, Pii, if I had to come on a forum and talk about people's pasts, if I was to tell everything that I know about everybody, the list would be from here in DC to where you live. I wouldn't lower myself to do that. It is disrespectful and not the right thing to do.

You don't have to respect me or Jennie. I don't think you know either of us, to tell you the truth. It seems like you have a bitterness about you.

As far as me being a good catch or a bad catch, just for your information, I'm a very talented person. There's a lot of qualities about me that you don't know about.

I used to ride horses for years from 4 o'clock in the morning until 6 o'clock in the evening for some of the best trainers in the world when pool got sour. Nobody would play me because I was too good, and I had to give up too much weight and couldn't make no money. The pool politics were in full force. So I went a different direction. I worked for D. Wayne Lucas and Laz Barrera. Those are two of some of the best horse trainers in the country, and Lucas is still training today. I used to work his 2-year-olds over there at Los Alamitos and San Anita. That's just one talent I have, sir.

I am who I am, and my life is what it is. I'm 51 years old today, and I would just like to be able to live what years I have left not defending myself on AzBilliards every time I look up. There's a lot of people that have pasts, but you have selected me to try to discredit me as a human being. So do me a favor and just keep my name out of your conversation. I don't want to participate like this, so you won't have to worry about reading my words. I have about had it on AzBilliards anyway.
 
What he did was wrong. He was rollin the dice and hoping he could make the payoffs with the gate receipts etc which turned out to be near not enough. The tourny was a flop for the promoter losing him thousands.

BUT from what i read he sold tables which were earning him rent everyday in order to make the payoffs. He went into his own account and many others wouldnt have done that. Im not ready to hang him at this juncture.
