Thin cut shot

With the CB on the second diamond (rather than at the corner pocket as I first assumed), the bank angle is more like 100°+. :oops: ...
The largest cut angle I've seen with a (more or less) level cue and outside english is about 110 degrees. That was for a simple cut shot, not a bank. I think as you mentioned before, the rail adds some angle due to the helping spin the object ball will have. Dr. Dave has a high-speed video or two on the subject.
