Thin cuts w the mudball

I can thin cut well on big tables.I backward cut many balls that others say aren"t posible.
On the bar box w the mudball I seem to cut even thinner. Does the increased mass of the mudball allow for thinner cuts? Or perhaps the ob. has more energy to go further, thus it
seems like it is psble to cut thinner?

The balls can't all roll towards the pockets!

If you're using outside english, the better result with the mud ball is probably because it is stickier.

Some bar boxes have ball returns that allow the cue ball to return because it's slightly larger than the rest of the balls.

If this is the case, then the larger cue ball actually connects with the object ball slightly thinner because it contacts the OB higher in the equatorial plane.

Good answers. I know these cb are heavy not oversized.
Friends accuse me of "thinking I know everything."
I tell if I dont, Bob does! Thanks again Bob you are a real

Ball weights

Here is are photos of various balls being weighed.

Among several balls of the same type there seems to be a variance of up to 8 grams. Some cheaper balls have a higher variance. These are the lightest of the 5 of each type I weighed.

You got that right. The Mudball always cuts thinner IF you learn to aim edge-to-edge.

The cloth also has alot to do with how much throw there is.
According to the usual theories, the cloth has no effect on how much the balls throw. Do you know of a demonstration that shows otherwise?

I don't know of a demonstration but I've found I have to cut a little thinner on nappier cloth. Maybe nappier also means dirtier?

This is a quote from Dr Dave's site, "11. Swerve occurs earlier with sticky cloth and later on slick cloth."

I'll keep looking.

Roadhustler...Am I seeing that right? The Aramith bar CB was 165g, and the red dot CB (not red circle) was 190g? That's almost a whole ounce more. That alone would make it more difficult to perform, especially with draw. I don't think I've ever run across a CB that heavy, that wasn't one of the old oversize CB's.

Yup no argument here but us poor country folks take what we get n like it. I posted the video because they weigh the red dot at the end.
