Was wonder if anyone else is a Pack Rat like me who just can not seem to get rid of stuff that finds its way into your Pool Cue Case.

I periodically do some Case Cleaning but what is there now just seem to be everything I need.

funny thing is every time Inside Pool Magazine does an article on what the Pros Case is, and what they Carry it is a Whole lot less than me.

Current Cue Case is a Jack Justis Pro Lite 2 x 4 with Large & Small Pocket that WEIGHS Empty, 4 Pounds 2.50 Oz, and full it weight in at only 8 Pounds 10.80 Oz Total Weight.

But with Two Playing Cues, and 4 Shafts, if I get rid of a Play cue, and Two Shafts. Putting in my Jump Butt with Shaft, and Break Butt & Shaft and only One Playing Cue, with 2 Shafts, I am down to about 8 Pounds 1.0 Oz. Total Weight.

Plus this laundry list of thing I just can not part with in my Case.

(3) Extra Pieces of Master Green Chalk

(1) Home Made Ghost Ball Training Device

(2) Pages of Hole Reinforces (Small White Adhesive Donuts) Got to have em for practice.

(1) Package Q Smoother Papers

(1) Tip Taper

(1) Q-Claw that hold Two Cues

(1) Spinali Bridge Head Can not go anywhere without it.

(1) Cue Rx Dent Buffer (remove many dents from other peoples shafts)

(1) Folding Reading Glasses CAN NOT SEE to Read without em.

(1) Tiger LEDR Shaft Buffer

(1) Willard DIME Tip Shaper

(1) Small Square of 220 Grit Sandpaper

(1) Mueller Tip Gauge

(1) Combination Chalk Holder/Tip Pick

(1) Magnetic Chalk Holder

(1) White Chalk Box with a New Cube of Master GREEN

3 or 4 Soft Rags 100% Cotton Rags

Hell no.

Just trying to put my cue together confuses the hell out of me, nevermind all that crap.

LMAO :D

I used to carry a load of stuff around in my case but i usually just carry cues and chalk now, the case is still pretty heavy tho!

I use to carry a lot of stuff. Never as much as you though. Now its just a piece of leather and williard in back pocket, cube of chalk in holder, tissue (to wipe chalk off tip after play), and my cue in a case. I use to carry a bridge head, but where i go now i have use of a justa bridge.

To Much Stuff...

Boy that's quite a laundry list of Pool Swag...

Here's mine:

-Playing Cue
-Break/Jump Cue
-TigerPaw 5 Cue Holder
-Q-Wiz
-Leather Burnisher
-Ultimate Tip Tool
-Leather Original Pocket Chalker
-3 Cubes Master's Blue

Not to bad, everything fits in my small pocket except my Pocket Chalker and xtra chalk...

btw, The Tiger Paw is awesome, only cue holder I've found that folds to fit nicely into the small pocket of your cue case...

Well if you take away there Case, and Cues my "JUNK" weight less than ONE POUND, not much as the Old Boy Scout Mottos say. Be Prepared, and that I am.

Plus the junk weight almost nada, and is there if I need it....
;)

I usually carry;

Tip pick, willard nickle, cue cube, bridge, towel, cue ball, rounded shaper w/sandpaper, q-papers

Dang!!! How much does your case weigh?

I just need to unload my little love notes from the hubby for the new year.

I use to carry a lot of useless gimicks in my case. Now all I carry besides my cues are:

Chalk
Eyedrops
Micro cloth

I use a very hard tip that does not get deformed or distorted so I don't use any tip shapers or scuffers.

There are always napkins available to clean the chalk off the tips before putting away. Also use a damp one to clean the shafts when needed and a dry one to burnish the shaft after.

Life is simple why complicate it?

Carry what you need. I wish that my case had space to carry spare running shoes.

I just have:

1 3 piece break cue that I use for jumping also
1 playing cue w/extra shaft
1 tip pik
Q paper
1 bullhead bridge
1 small cotton towel
1 current issue of FHM or Maxim to relax w/good coffee in between sets.

I carry no chalk (why bother?), and nothing else that I'll bother to use other than at home such as cleaning products and shapers, etc...My predator 2X4 weighs too much on its own as it is...don't need to add unnecessary crap.

There is this character that comes into the pool rooms down here in South Florida. He carries with him this aluminum case that is the size of a suitcase. I kid you not, this case is bigger than a 6x12 Porper. He claims to have like 30k worth of pool equipment in there, but who knows, he is definitely a bit odd. I will say though that he never has to worry about someone swiping his cue and he has a pool accessory in there for just about any kind of circumstance.

Hold on

Does the guy make bets that he can make balls spitting the cue ball out of his mouth? Can he draw the ball shooting a ball out of his mouth?

If so, I think I have seen this guy.

My Collection of Good Stuff would fit in One Hand and is not really much. If Laid out so everything was Stacked up it would all fit on a Tea Cup Saucer. ;)

No I have never seen him do this. He is older, like maybe 50-60 with a mustache and goatee and has heavy tattoos all over.
