Thinking about buying a table

I have found a very good deal on a old brunswick that appears from the pictures to be in pretty good shape and its the standard size 5'x10' .

My question is would my room be big enough to use for it. The room that I have in mind to put it in is 14' 5" wide and over 30' long. From what I have seen in the room size charts they vary alot.

I'm no expert but you should be ok. The width will be a little tight but I think it would work. A cue is usually about 58" long so you'd need almost 5' on each side of the inside edge of the cushion, plus some stroking room, but you'd gain a little room as you'd be jacked up at least a little when shooting a ball against the rail.

for 10 ft table,

with a 140 cm cue, the minimum space needed :580cmx440cm
with a 110 cm cue, the minimum space needed :520cmx380cm

1 inch:2.54 cm

That 14.5 widewon't yeild enough room to shoot across the table when frozn to side rail, but it will only affect you on a small% of shots...

I assume it is unheated? Better be getting a deal on it. From what I have seen, if you double your cost you can get a top-level, used Euro table (in USA...2.5k for prior, 5k for latter)
