I have played to many good players and been beaten with things that sounded like the nut,s.
I would rather things started out in my favor...

I just figured with the name "8pack", it might be tough action. I mean, by the way he talked to me in that condescending manner, I thought I could be out of bounds. I took it a little to heart. For that I apologize. Not for what I said, but for the fact that I let it get to me.
Normally, I don't let words ever get to me. But, when I start a thread about how I'm sick of hearing about..... and then he posts on said thread with exactly what I said I'm sick of............well, then mentions about how "I don't understand this" or something to that effect............well, I had a male ego flashback.

Maybe not all but some do.
I had a friend who played pro and we got to talking about how he aim,s.
He kinda gave me a rough ideal on what he does but wouldn,t give all to me.

Listen, Mr. I have a Friend who used to play pro (what is a pro anyway). I'm a 43 year old man with a biz and have travelled with all kinds of players that are KNOWN. Doesn't make me a world beater, but I've matched up with a ton of them. I don't and never have claimed to be a world beater. I am willing to bet I play better than you. That's all there is to it. I've played Stevie Moore, Rudolfo Luat, Cliff Joyner, Johnny, travelled with Coltrain, Cliff, ahhh hell, I don't need to give you a resume'. I'm also a fairly educated human with an IQ over 130. So, for you to say "smartass kid" , expect a response.
I'm sick of hearing about "systems." That is my whole point. Everyone has there own habits, and no one set is better than another. Or, does not work for everyone. ONLY with respect to some on here, I won't name the fellas that laugh at all of the BS little know it alls on here. Out of the five people that were talking about these systems and joking about it, NOONE on here or in the world has to beat four of them. ALL of them have been on TV. I don't have their permission to put them in this , but we all know them. Trust me, I'd love to name them. Love to. Their main point was that they've developed certain "habits" and shortcuts of their own. They've watched and tried each little thing that might help them. For someone to name something a system infers that if you learn it, it's infallible. That's simply not true. There's always exceptions.
As far as you calling someone a little smartass, just where do you play? We can discuss this on a grownup level. I 'd be willing to bet you wouldn't say that I sounded like a little kid smartass if we were within ten feet of eachother. Or, you might. And again, I don't even know you. Those on here that do know me just might bet my way. Want to play or not? I don't care win or lose. It's just a game to me. A way to have fun and talk shit and pick up some spare change or have a wild evening. It's not my living. Thank God.
If something helps you, use it. I don't care if it's putting a carrot in your ass and singing the "conjunction junction" song while playing. I'd try it if it helped. DEVELOP your game by any means possible, but stop calling it a system. "Habit" or "Routine" please.

I have to support crawfish on this one. This was his thread, to express his views on his frustrations at seeing the never-ending fishing-line-tangles of aiming system thread that keep washing ashore on the Main forum. Then, we have those coming into the thread with, "but you should watch this video, and watch that video, and this other video... to convince you that aiming system threads are GOOD!" when that was precisely and specifically NOT what the OP wanted to see. Roughly analogous to:
A. "I don't want coconut cookies right now."
B. "But how do you know you don't want coconut cookies right now? You haven't tried them! Here's a plateful of coconut cookies for you to try... [dumps them into A's lap]"
Now I understand that this goes both ways -- maybe those that don't want to see aiming system thread are getting a little prairie justice from their interjection into aiming system threads in the first place. The problem is, is the prairie justice directed towards the right place? I don't remember crawfish interjecting into any aiming system threads...
But hey, that's only my $0.02, which I picked up off the floor...

Had he done the former, without the latter then it's likely that they thread would not have filled up with opinions and "proof" on both sides.
This is AZ though - anyone who starts such a thread HAS to know how it will end up. Look at my thread where I clearly BEGGED people in the first to allow CTE to be discussed without any flaming. Not a chance.
