Ran across this on Tim Scruggs' site. There is a lot going on in this cue, especially one without any inlays.

That's definitely different. Don't know how I feel about that one.

Wonder if it's the same wood with a stain applied to the handle section. Looks like it could be!

I meant 3 pieces of the same wood Tommy ....
 
Interesting cue for sure! Handle appears to be highly figured Sapele and the forearm and butt sleeve very highly figured BEM.

Curly Koa wood in the handle- Very nice wood for a cue, and great playability,
the frt & rr are made of excellent birdseye,
what a stunning cue :smile:
 
Aside from that pesky flat-faced joint, I dig the hell out of it!!

Everyone knows I love birdseye maple...and that quilted handle is sick!

So much for my "anti-wrapless" phase....:rolleyes:
 
I saw that cue on there. I wonder how much it is. I was thinking of asking but was scared it would scare me :smile:. Anyone know how much.

The wood in the handle is pomelle sapele. One of the most expensive woods you'll ever find in a cue. The buttsleeve and forearm look to be stained birdseye. A true natural beauty for sure.
