This forum is worse off than before

These changes aren't so bad considering what we have to pay to be here! :D

Old skin is still available.

If you guys are having trouble finding anything you can always go to the bottom left corner and switch to the vB 3 style.
That skin is just like old times.:thumbup:
 
Give Mike a break. Of course there are going to be issues to iron out with the transfer. How about being constructive and letting him know about those he may not know about instead of complaining.

No problems so far, like the new layout, like the way messages work with the exception of the HORRIBLE 1500 character limit.

It does take a little bit to work out the kinks when you upgrade and move to a new host.

Y'all need to remember that this software is fairly complicated to keep everything running and so from time to time it will be buggy while everything gets put in the proper place.

I have a forum that I manage and I recruit serious help when I have to upgrade it or install a plugin because I am deathly afraid of crashing it and losing data.

On the LeatherWorker forum theirs was hacked and the end result was that the owner and several volunteers spent weeks re-entering BY HAND over 4000 posts.

Chazdillon - you can download and save your PM's as an XML file and then when you double click that saved file you can read your messages.

You can also download a free utility called VB Reader that will sort the downloaded XML file for you into sent and received messages.

99% of these posters are Pool Players and every pool player has a god given right to complain about everything.

Including software upgrades and Service Providers and Hosting sites.
