Hi Mom!
Silver Member
AZB is much slower and WAYYY!!! more glitchy than ever.
Besides being so slow its just frustrating most of the time, I keep finding weird glitches.
Like trying to read a post, and it takes me to the posters information/ contact page. or wont open a thread , just says page can not be foun.
I miss the good old days.

Give them some time to get all the kinks worked out maybe it will be better in the long run ...

For me at least it has been good tonight. Fast and most everything has been working. I don't know how they did it but I thing Mike and company even fixed Smorg because he is back.

Hey Jayman,
You need to chill out for a bit buddy ;)
There was a major version upgrade as well of hosting company. In the long run you will see the benefits, actually there is a ton of new features on this new version of the forum that you need to learn...
Well, in the old days was Windows 3.1 and now you have Vista... Back in the day was a V8 now is a hybrid.
People are reluctant to change and it is easier to accept it and embrace it then fighting against it... Anyway the forum has been upgraded and there is no turning back. Sit down and relax since the bugs will be worked out.

You are crazy! I think it works MUCH better. Maybe you should put down the bong, and get a good nights sleep. I am sure it will seem better in the morning my friend.

Become a club member. More message space is one of the perks.

seriously, we're only one day in! don't sweat the small stuff. :groucho:

That's Rule Number 1.

Rule Number 2 is: It's all small stuff.

Or, as George Carlin put, don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.

God, are we all addicts or what? For me the forum is running about the same speed as it was before maybe a touch faster.

No problems so far, like the new layout, like the way messages work with the exception of the HORRIBLE 1500 character limit.

It does take a little bit to work out the kinks when you upgrade and move to a new host.

Y'all need to remember that this software is fairly complicated to keep everything running and so from time to time it will be buggy while everything gets put in the proper place.

I have a forum that I manage and I recruit serious help when I have to upgrade it or install a plugin because I am deathly afraid of crashing it and losing data.

On the LeatherWorker forum theirs was hacked and the end result was that the owner and several volunteers spent weeks re-entering BY HAND over 4000 posts.

Chazdillon - you can download and save your PM's as an XML file and then when you double click that saved file you can read your messages.

You can also download a free utility called VB Reader that will sort the downloaded XML file for you into sent and received messages.

We will get used to the new format much like we have to get used
to the new eBay Beta format.

Everything was loading slow this afternoon but now seems to be
running fast and smooth.

I appreciate everything the Mods are doing to improve the site.
The price (FREE) is definitely reasonable.

i forgot where it said to notify if we found a glitch...could someone please notify them that when you are on a thread and u pm someone it brings u back to your own mailbox.

thanks
