DZ your photography and workmanship are always amazing! Looks good. Did you fire up that Techno Isel monster to cut the end caps for the tube?

Either way all the options mentioned are good ways to ship a cue safely, I've seen some questionable ways shipped to me before. I only hope no one ever thought that of me on anything I shipped them.
 
I've decided to use the triangular boxes outside of all my shipping tubes as well...
If you think about it, a round tube will roll, where the boxes will NOT.
I can just imagine the tube rolling off of a conveyor belt in some airport, and being lost for days..... or run over.... etc.

he probably drill indexed the tube and tapped the holes too!

oh WOW, now I'm going to have nightmares of that situation, and wake up sweating lol
 
I hadn't thought about the rolling aspect until it was brought up in this thread - it'll be tubes and triangles from now on.
