I am going on a business trip to Florida this week, I paid an extra $130 out of my pocket to rent a Mustang to take a 75 minute ride to a pool hall for a tournament so I would enjoy the drive more LOL

No offence if anyone on here plays in Starcade Billiards, but I hope you all suck that day so I don't go 2 and out ;)

Convertible I hope. You got a lot of catching up to me if you want to compare excesses, LOL!

Have a blast and win something. Remember to enjoy the moment. Competitive pool can be stressful, we need to learn to enjoy it.

What tournament are you coming for? It is really nice here right now! :thumbup:
 
I was going down to FL to train a couple employees and my office mate did the same on alternate weeks.

My boss asked why I put like 5x more mileage on that rental than my colleague did...?

A: she's got the 8 and the breaks, if she wanna bet something!
Or,
2- coz that's where the pool room is!

They have a weekly on Th and Fridays, I can make it Th but Friday I can't, the store grand opening is Sat and I can't be back at hotel at 3am before that LOL

I already told the other guys I work with to expect me in at like 10 or 11 on Friday, but grand openings are a mad house with a long day of hanging around and I don't want to deal with that after a 8pm tournament start and driving back for over an hour.

Convertible was like $500 more for the week, plus it is scheduled to rain the first two days I'm there, with clouds rest of the week. I'll be happy with just a standard 300hp 2 door :) considering the normal car is a Hyandai Elantra or something like I had last time I was there.

Just know that Thurs runs really late if you do well. Shoot well! I shoot out of there tonight as well as play in a 9ball APA Vegas Qualifier on Sunday. I love that place!

I figured it would be like a 1am or later night so all set :smile: If you happen to be there Thursday look for a bald guy with glasses you never seen before hehe

Thanks god I don’t work for a company that drills down on the expense report like yours does.

It wasn't in an overlord sort of way. She was just wondering about the huge difference.

She always told me to spend like I would if it was my money.

Best big-boy job I had...though current one is pretty damn good too.
 
I’m in Austin this week. Saw a Mustang convertible in the Hertz President's Circle and thought, what the hell, I’ve got a nice little drive to Houston tomorrow and a convertible might be fun. Damn what a mistake! I’m too old. I can barely get in and out of the damn thing. It’s depressing. But it’s supposed to be nice tomorrow so maybe it will be worth it.
