We are having a BCA team tournament this weekend at Shooters here in Olathe KS. Race to 13!!!! Bring your teams its starts Saturday at 2:00 pm $100.00 a team entry fee. This will be a great warm up for the BCA Nationals!!!
As always I will be here for all your cue needs!!
There is going to be at least $200.00 added to this also!!

Think I'm coming with a pieced together team from Springfield - Greenfield - Joplin - Fair Grove - and not sure about that last guy. :grin:

Patrick ?? from Joplin should already be up there.
Jim Helt from the Fair Grove area.
Dave Hathman from Springfield.
Sam Waltz from Springfield.
and ugly, old me from Greenfield.

Does it look like a full bracket at this point? Do we need to reserve a spot? Hate to drive up and be turned away.

Shouldn't be a problem getting into the tournament. You can call Shooters and have them put you down. Their number is 913-780-5740. Should be a fun tournament. See you there.

Right now we have 10 teams signed up. I know we had a team coming from Springfield not sure if it is yours or not. Just call and sign up to be safe. We will get a lot of walk in teams on Sat.

Nice to meet your brother there yesterday, Mark. Sam didn't come due to wimping out on us. :grin: But yes, he is still kicking around and still playing some decent pool.

Dave Matlock didn't recognize me at first and, in truth, I didn't recognize him - someone had to point him out to me. The years have not been kind to either of us. I jogged his memory just a bit and it all came back to him though. Enjoyed our little visit.

My team didn't do so well but not because we didn't try. I'm too dern old for these long drives and don't have sense enough to get a decent night's rest before. At least that's my excuse, don't know about the rest of those guys. :grin:

We were badly beaten by the team that dardusm was on - and that made us have to settle for a 5th/6th place tie. No shame in being beaten by that bunch, they were all playing well and playing smart. A few rolls went in their favor but that doesn't explain the lopsided outcome. I hope they won the whole thing as they seemed to be a nice bunch of fellows with a good sense of humor - as well as good 8 ball players.

Need a report on the final outcome as we left just after our final loss.

It was a fun tournament. Our team ended up finishing 3rd. We were beaten out by the team from Topeka that played very well. I don't think they played the finals because it was around 2am when we finished. They did some kind of split for 1st and 2nd but the Topeka team wanted to play. Have to give them credit. Good to see you Rich get out an about. Also, enjoyed visiting with Dave H. and glad to see him back playing again.

Yeah, I wussed on the guys this weekend and spent Easter with my GF's family. I can't play a lick anymore though, so it was probably good for them as a team! :thumbup: I wish Rich and the boys woulda won the whole thing, but I'm sure it was a blast regardless.

Remember, only the shadow knows for sure... :cool:

Not spending much time on the tables, but I'm still keeping myself in shape enough so whenever a big bully comes in town I'll be able to defend myself. ;) Hope your doin' well too man!
