Thomas Wayne cues, I don't believe, are known to be players. They usually are very expensive and he once stated that "Anyone who buys one of his cues to play with was buying it for the wrong reason."

I've shot with a couple in the $5000 price range. Too much squirt for me.
 
A good friend of mine has one. Probably at least 20 years old. Beautiful cue. He plays very well with it, but has more or less stopped taking it with him to pool halls. Multiple sets of eyes have followed it around the room, if you know what I mean...

Too squirty? Not for my friend.
 
You DO get the straight scoop on here. Never had a rep for making great playing cues. But was well known for making one of the nicest looking cues, and most valuable I might add.

One word of caution. Do NOT send your Thomas Wayne cue back to him for repairs, adjustments etc. The wait time for returned cues is about one generation. So if you send it now, you may get it back when your kids are grown.

To Thomas, his cues are works of art and perfect when they go out the door. By the way, that is not his real name.
