I finished capturing all my videos to my computer and thought you would enjoy a transcript of Thorsten's acceptance speech. All words were as close to the original speech patterns as possible. Some words were either drowned out or I did not understand them, but for the most part, his speech was very endearing.
Thorsten is a true champion..eloquent, humble, and he remembered everyone without notes, with humor and respect. Who doesn't love this guy?
Kevin Trudeau:
Two big misses, scratch on the break <laughter from audience> and that incredible runout. Three hundred and fifty THOUSAND dollars. How does it feel?

Well...<speechless> I usually don't say much, but I want to take this opportunity to say a few things and I have many people to thank.
First of all, this...I don't know..I don't know how to describe this. This is the happiest moment in my life! <Cheers>
First of all, I want to say congratulations to Marlon because he deserved it as much as I did. I was just fortunate that I had a pretty easy runout at the end, so he could have easily beaten me and he..he showed over the week that he's the greatest player. I mean he had a better record than I have and I'm sure he'll get me next time!
I want to say in behalf of the entire world of pool, I want to say thank you for (coming up with?) the IPT. <Bows to Kevin and much cheering.>
I would like to __? the sport and I think everybody here is a big piece of history in this beauriful sport and I hope the people will appreciate it on their homes TV.
I think it was very exciting, the finals, 7-6. Couldn't have been better.
