I'm looking to buy some house cues.. I don't need top of the line stuff, but I'd like basically wood house cues.. Duffy's or _______ ?? Looking for a good price more then anything. I figured someone around here had to buy some house cues and has already done the research.

On a side note a friend of mine wrote me an e-mail so I figuerd I'd pose question # 2 to the knowedge of the board.

We have an Adler pool table that my dad bought back in the 60's, possibly even 50's. Do you know if there's a need for these or what the resale is on them?

I've never heard of an Adler, anyone know anything about them? It's a 9'er, and he's hoping to go down to an 8 or 7 to make room in his house.

In reading that (the history section) it seems like their old table might actually be worth something?

How much are you willing to spend on a house cue? You can get a nice schmelke house cue at Billiardwarehouse for $26 or so, $33 or so with bocote. I don't think the one piece house cues are up on their site, but they have them.

Dave...Some of the best house cues I've played with were Valley Supremes...retail @ $20, whsle @ $12, but you have to buy a case (20 pieces I think). Try Mueller's...
