Angola ain't all bad. I have friends and family on both sides of the bars! Last I knew they were doing the rodeo twice a year and had their own radio station I believe.

A friend went up for eight years. First day they gave him a bowl of grits for breakfast/lunch. Musta not even got them hot, the weevils were still crawling around in them. "I can't eat this slop!" "Don't like it?" "NO!"

They put him in the box for three days. A two feet by two feet iron box in the middle of the yard, not quite tall enough to stand up in. A little slot to push food and water in. They didn't give him any food and not much water. When he got back to his cell they gave him the same bowl of grits!

Jamie, I lost the house I was living in to Ida. Dropped tens of thousands of gallons of water on my pool table too. I am living in Albany now. All quiet. When I get settled in I will have to try to find a place to play pool again.
