Thoughts on cues with one ring above the wrap

Kind of like what you see in a balabushka style cue. Some have one above the wrap.

At times I think it looks good and sometimes it looks off.

Then...one that at times you think looks good.

I like visuals.
 
Are we talking about rings such as these?
I guess there is one there that doesn't have one, I like that cue also.
