The only commentator I like listening to is Incardona. He's the only one that knows which shot is next and how it will be played.
KT ought to take him off the tour, pay him what he'd make on the tour anyways - and put him in the booth. Then, all they need is a color commentator and maybe a 3rd guy to trash talk or bring excitement.
I don't watch pool on ESPN or with commericals. I only like watching pool in its entirety, with knowledgeable commentary. My time is better spent playing the game, than watching a match go from 1-1 to 5-2 over the commercial break, and to have a woman and some dude talking the whole time, none of which is about the strategy, and the whole motif of their commentary is always from a position of question/wonder. I can wonder too what they'll do next. I can question which shot will be next too. I don't need to hear guesses and wonders from them.
As for the IPT, you have KT telling us how tough the cloth and tight pockets are, Sigel telling us how women are weak and can't break and a whole slew of other sexist remarks in addition to telling us how great he is...oh yeah! Sounds like a winning plan there. KT is doing great so far with everything, but they have to draw the line somewhere and understand they personally cannot do it all. Hire some qualified people to do that part of the IPT.
