Update

OK Folks,

I got word this morning that the doctors have removed the tubes from his throat. I am told that he is alert and cracking jokes with the nurses. Hopefully, they will soon let him have his phone or iPad so he can get reconnected with the world.

We sincerely thank all of you for the thoughts and prayers that you have sent his way. I'm sure he will be touched when he reads it all.

THE NURSES! Always the girls. Anyone want action on whether he's asked for a sponge bath yet?

Me and Mark don't see eye to eye, but i wish him a speedy recovery, there are more important things in life, get well soon Mark.

Make no mistake. It takes a lot of guts to subject one's self to this surgery with the long, difficult recovery associated with it. Mark, you are a brave man.

Great news. Mark, take your recovery one day at a time. I am sure there are going to be some difficult times, but you are given an opportunity. I know that you will return stronger than before.

After all, Ozzy needs you for his Mark-isms segment. Nobody does it better than you!

Positive thoughts-

CueSports International (CSI) would like everyone to keep its owner and CEO, Mark Griffin, in their thoughts and prayers.

For months, Mark has been quietly preparing for a lung transplant and yesterday, he received the call. The procedure is scheduled to take place tonight and while we all expect a successful surgery, a little extra support from all of you can only be good.

We will keep everyone updated on his recovery. Thank you.

Update

I just wanted to update everyone on Mark's status.

The original plan was that after the transplant, he would be in ICU for one week and then move to a regular hospital room for another 2-3 weeks. His recovery has progressed ahead of schedule and he was moved out of ICU after just four days. He is now in a regular room and is walking, eating, texting, and emailing.

The guy is absolutely amazing. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

So glad that he is recovering well. Amazing what modern medicine is able to accomplish. Is it public knowledge what was actually wrong that required a transplant?

Knowing him, he's trying to get ready to go to Reno. If not, he's thinking very hard about it....LOL

Glad to hear the good news.... (Pool needs this guy like he needs Pool) He genuinely cares about this game. Not many like him, for sure.

Looking forward to seeing him w/o wheeling the 'tank' :)
