I seen them at ICCS and they are original for sure! A lot of work involved, so much I doubt they will be copied as many others are. Great job and imagination a Richard Black cue would go great with these!

Here are three new original cases by Phil Eastwood-Quiverz Sport Cases. Each debuted at the ICCS 2013 in Atlanta. The first is 'Backbone 8' a 1x1 soft case, the second ' Doc Holliday' 1x2 in tribute to Val Kilmer's portrayal of this iconic gambler and gunfighter in the 1993 film Tombstone and last but most certainly not least, 'The Patriot' also a 1x2. Drop us a PM or email for more details. We think these pieces represent an evolution in the art-form and most certainly value your input and advise.

Love the cases

I'll be your huckleberry... That Doc Holliday case is amazing.

That said, the Uncle Sam rolling up his sleeves has to be one of the coolest ideas I've seen in quite some time.

And here I thought that was JB ,, that's some great work by anybody's standards

Well I don't agree with Alan about them being most functional but they are certainly great works of art. When you get to see them in person they really jump out with all the details that Phil puts in. They are imagination unbridled.

Phil is not constrained by convention, not by needing to build a "practical" cue case and not by leather working traditions. He works leather like a sculptor adapting it to suit his fancy. While the hog rings are not my taste after speaking with Will I understand the Steampunk nature of them and the fact that they can be used in so many ways to bind leather allows Phil even more latitude to express his creativity.

He can and does employ traditional leather working methods like lacing and sewing where it fits the theme.

I was pretty much blown away by Will's Quiverz collection. Phil is an artist who works with leather as the medium not a leather worker making artistic cases. There is a big difference. Phil makes art in the shape of a cue case.
