The wood in this cue is top shelf. The tiger maple is the heaviest/dense piece I've ever had, and I have/had alot. The Cocobolo is museum grade. This is some of the wood that I've had since the begining of my brother and I making cue's and I feel I finally make a cue worth of using it.

Let me know what you think?

Thanks for looking,

Love those triple stacked rings Bryan. I noticed your ringwork and finish is really standing out. Keep up the great work

Bryan,

You really have something going there with the rings and the great cocobolo. This is a great example of a cue showing the natural beauty of the wood without the need for additional decorative inlays. It truly is a tasteful, beautiful cue.

Let me ask you, why are you using a piloted joint? A flat face should be just fine in this configuration.

LONG ANSWER,

We believe in taking it a step further, we believe that the pilot does add to the hit, helping to make the shaft truely apart of the cue and closer to that one-piece cue feel. Funny you should mention this, my brother and I are going to make fewer cue's w/the pilot and more flat face, I've had alot of people say if this cue, or that cue was flat faced they'd buy it, and some people are afraid of breaking the tenon. We are going to have some more cue's done in the next week, Most are sold, but I do have some that aren't and some are piloted, most are not.

Thanks for your kind words,

I think flat-face would give the the customer more flexibility on which shaft to use (favorite or low deflection).

Beautiful cue.

I think the wood to wood pilot with a big pin is an awesome idea. I would really like to try it to feel the difference in hit. Have you had any problems with the tenon breaking? Maybe a phenolic insert in the shaft would make it stronger? Anyways, beautiful cue and don't let convenience get in the way of performance.

Wow!!!!

Hey Bryan, What a gorgeous cue!!! The teaaser pics have me drooling, cant wait til it gets here. If it hits near as good as it looks it should pay for itself the 1st night

Actually you don't have to have a piloted shaft to fit our cues. I have a few customers that use there predator shafts and there flat faced. there is enough pin sticking out to use after market shafts no problem

The only time's (3) that the pilot has broke was from abuse, and the guy dropped his shaft and when it hit the floor the pilot broke. I have replaced the tenon w/ phenolic, hit's nice. My brothers cue has one shaft w/phenolic, we were experimenting, hits nice, we will do some in the future. Thank you for your incouragement, I won't stop making cue's w/pilots, just not as many, 90% of the cues that are ordered from us are piloted, some just aren't ready for a step up in performance:thumbup:

Don't take that last line as an insult to other cues/cuemakers, I was just poking alittle fun.

Thanks,

Holy Crap Bryan, U shipped this thing in a tube they use to form concrete poles with LOL, Damn beautiful cue, the pictures are good, but believe me when I tell you they do not do this cue justice. Im walking out the door now to hit the pool room to see if she hits as sic as she looks, from what I have heard from other Fisher Cue owners, I will not be disappointed. Will post more later but for now I gots to go!!!! But real quick heres a stupid question....What is a Merry Widow Cue??
