As many of you may already know, Tiger Products' brand new trailer was stolen last month in Las Vegas at the Riviera Convention Center during APA Team Nationals..., CLICK HERE for more information including the latest news on this theft.

Aside from the merchandise, tools, marketing materials and the like that were stolen, which totaled well over $220k, Tiger Products lost a large number of man hours in this theft. A portion of Tiger's goal at the APA Nationals was gaining feedback from their own customers in a Market Survey used to aid them in research and development. They collected a large amount of data during the event and that data was lost in the theft.

It has been said that, “Tiger Products has been good the billiards industry and this theft makes no sense”, and I could not agree more!

Tiger Products has been very generous to players and spectators all over the country by sponsoring many Tournaments & Tours which currently include:

The Viking Cue 9 Ball Tour
The UPA Pro Tour
The Florida Men's Pro Tour
The J. Pechauer West Coast Tour
The J. Pechauer Southeast Tour
The Tri-State Tour
The New England A-B Series
Kings Bay Promotions
The Joss Northeast 9 Ball Tour
The Tiger Canadian Women's Pool Tour

and of course The Tiger Planet Pool Tour

Here’s a chance to give back and show that you support Tiger’s efforts by taking a little time out of your day to help replace the vital Market Survey information that was lost in this theft.

Please send Cory Harper an email at corey@tigerproducts.com .., Subject: Market Survey and he will reply to you with the survey as an email attachment in MS Word with instructions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I'm sure that everyone at Tiger Products will appreciate your efforts.

From your website:

The Riviera hotel, although having 2 security cameras on the very area where the trailer was stolen from, has been thoroughly unhelpful. They have shown a very blasé attitude about the incident. It seems as no surprise that this happens there. The Las Vegas PD shall be ordering them to hand the camera tapes over to them for their review.

I said it before and I'll say it again...imho, it is someone who works there that is responsible for setting up and covering up the theft.

Maybe it's about time to change casinos for VNEA and BCA internationals? Why give these colusion artists anymore help?

I'll never play the games at the Riv again. I've gotten heat at the BJ tables for winning but now they suddenly can't help catch a real thief??? WTF, they've about 5,000 cameras and who knows how many "eyes" in that place. (!!!???) Something stinks really bad.

Time for a boycott, imho.

Screw the boycott. There should be a lawsuit as a result of their failure to deal appropriately with the ongoing problem.

BTW, just heard on Friday (from a very reliable source) that one of the theives was arrested (and subsequently released on bail) in a sting operation very recently. Only about 1/3 of the goods were accounted for and the goods can be held by Las Vegas Police for up to a year. The thief, likely one of a small group, called someone in the cue/ billiard business and offered to sell thousands of tips and leather wraps for $500! The businessman alerted the police and Tiger who then set up the sting. I hope the others involved in the heist are also brought to justice. Probably won't put but a small dent in the Las Vegas converntion/show vendor hijack industry. Shame on the Riviera for their cavalier attitude toward vendor security.

I can't believe that the knuckleheads who stole all this stuff had anything to do with the Riviera or billiards in general. If they did, they'd have known that there has been a APB (all points bulletin) in the pool and billiards world since this heist. Noone in their right mind would have tried to sell this stuff en mass if they had just read a little on the net. I do think that the Riviera could do more to watch their own back parking lot though. I find it hard to believe that a casino wouldn't have tapes of the theives in their own parking lot. I hope the bums who stole all this product get prosecuted to the fullest.
