Tight Pockets

Thanks. I don't see how this can't be done on tight pockets.

Because the harder you hit the cue ball with follow english, the more it causes the object ball to skid/slid towards the intended pocket as in it's not rolling towards the pocket...it's sliding. Force follow english is easy to apply to the cue ball when the object balls are closer to the pockets, but the farther away from the pocket, and the greater the angle, the harder it is to pocket the ball without it rebounding off the pocket facings and back out of the pocket. It's a nice trick/show off shot, but when the cash is at stake, you don't take them kind of chances just to show off your force follow english abilities, unless you like being a daredevil on the pool table;)
