Tim said he'd want $1800 to build this cue again today.
Metal rings with floating maple stitches in between.
The point and veneer work is top notch. From what I understand, Tim and Coker cues worked together and Tim had a large influence on the pointwork at coker. Or something to that effect.
The points on this cue were done in reverse typical order with the smaller points being done first and the larger second which gives the forearm a real different look!
Tim is a custom cuemaker out of Glendale Heights and doesn't get to make many as he has a full time job that keeps him from building more, and more often.
Big 3/8x10 joint for great feedback and feel.
Looking to get $850 shipped for this looker.

Tim is a member here, and has built quality cues for many years, but somehow manages to "stay under the radar." Nice cue. GLWYS.

Yeah he does seem to stay under the radar, unfortunately! If people were to look at the extreme closeups of the veneers here, they'd see what an awesome cue they'd be getting for less than half of what it should go for! Guys, Prince cues are nothing to shy from. The veneer work on the points is so good, they look like recut points! Again $1800 new is what this cue would cost you.

Some of tim's other work can be found at wolfbite.com
Here is Tim Prince's background and philosophy in his own words:

"I started playing pool in my early teens, and was hooked instantly. I loved everything about pool, especially cues. I had taken a cue of mine to be rewrapped by a local cue maker and knew instantly after watching him re-wrap that cue, that I wanted to make cues. I started buying equipment soon after that. I am a tool and die maker by trade and have been trained in high tolerance precision machining so building cues came easy for me. I built and sold my very first cue in 1996 (later I bought my first cue back)."

"I build Prince cues with playability as my number one concern. I always hated end heavy cues, so I weight my cues evenly throughout the cue. I make every part of my cues except for the tip and bumper. Prince cues is a one man operation. I hand pick all the woods and inlay materials that go into my cues. I am very picky when it comes to the materials that I use. I build roughly 40 cues a year, mostly spliced pointed cues. I am very meticulous when it comes to my spliced points. I am always busy with custom orders, and repair work for local pool rooms so it can take 4-6 months for a cue. I have received nothing but praise for the way that my cues play, and I work very hard at maintaining that reputation."

The Prince cue motto is "Made by a Prince, fit for a king."

That is a great looking cue! I currently own three cues made by Tim Prince. He is a great cue maker, his work is truly outstanding. I would highly recommend his cues to anyone.

Nice cue there buddy. I've only seen his cues with veneers on the points before. I like the no veneer look on that purpleheart and ebony. I bet you get a lot of compliments on that cue!
