I don't think anyone would be interested in a Scruggs cue that is not for sale.

There will always be interest in a cue like this, especially on this site. Post price and cue specs and let it ride.

This looks like this cue which was posted in the Stolen section and was "lost"

Stolen Tim Scruggs cue - 05-11-2011, 01:59 PM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I sold this cue on eBay last week and sent it to the Buyer in Pleasant Hill Iowa. My Mail Center did not check the box, "Signature Required," even though I had specified I required one. The cue was delivered to the address, but the Buyer says he did not receive it and has checked with neighbors, etc. I'm hoping whoever stole the cue will try to sell it, pawn it, or play with it. I'm including a link to the eBay site, where pics are available. I'm hoping that if anyone in the Pleasant Hill/Des Moines area sees it, someone will contact me and let me know. I filed a report with the local Police, who have told me to contact them if/when I hear something.

Thanks in advance.

Cue is for sale or for trade.

I will post specs and price I am wanting later today when I get home from work.

This is my first For Sale post on AZ, I can provide 100% feedback rating on Ebay, or my brother (ykndoit) can vouch for me on her also.

All Cleard up.

Thanks for your reply. I waited a week to post the message so the buyer could check with all the neighbors. He told me yesterday that he had, and no luck. The good news is, it turned up. A neighbor was out of town and was having a friend get his mail for him. It was delivered to his house and the friend didn't realize it was another neighbors mail. He called today to say he had it and buyer called me.
Thanks again!!!

Good eyes always good to have an eye on things, and i guess it was sorted but still a great cue what are you looking to get for the cue?

Could you please provide detailed descriptions?
Is the butt-section straight?
Are the shafts straight?
Size of each shafts?
Is the cue straight together with either shafts?
Weight of each piece?
Any cracks, dents, chipping?

These will make selling a lot easier.

Nice cue. Looks like good solid player.

here is what the ebay auction had it listed as

"This cue is in remarkably good shape and is a beautiful piece of curly maple. Over the years it has developed a slight warp in the butt at the joint. Regardless, it plays great and has a solid hit. Tim Scruggs won ACM Cuemaker of the year for 2009. He's been making cues since the late 70's. I don't know how old it is but I've owned it over 15 years.
Length, 58in Weight, 19oz and Tip size,13mm. All sizes approximate. "

definitely would suggest an update on information now that its in another persons hands though
