To Jimbo and Dumbo. I read his post on inside and it wasn't as antagonistic as I was led to believe it was just a man with a opinion.
But I did say I am not a good picture taker and my pictures were unedited and light is a tricky thing.

I can't imagine owning a cue and not playing with it. But I understand the issue with using higher-end cues. When I first got my current Tucker, I couldn't shoot worth a shlt with it - too nervous about bangins it up. Sure enough, I whacked the but against the metal braces on a table and but two good finish scrapes on the butt - never did that with other cues, even though I wasn't even careful with them.
Once it was dinged, I started playing well with it.
Just be careful with the cue, use tan chalk, and clean the shaft before you trade/sell it...but PLAY WITH IT.

I play with my 8 point Cochran
It is a monster. I am sure that the titlist cues will play lights out. I just shoot with one cue.
The issue isn't the value here. It is simple. The only advantage to owning a cue is you get used to it. The more you get used to it the more consistant your game will be.
All this swaping and going back and forth from cue to cue to find the one player is nonsense.
Anyone will play best with a cue they are used to. I happen to be used to my Cochran. It doesn't hurt that it performs like a Ferrari on nitros.
I played my best with my 5 veneer Scruggs that I played with for years but sold when I stopped playing. After that going from cue to cue was not helping any. Now I am back playing again with a cue I am used to and I aint going through any of that agian!
Love them titlist cues though! Between those and my other High end Cochran I think I have 4 very nice cues.
But I only play with one. Play with one cue everytime. You will improve or at least your chances of improving will be limited by your talent!
One of my aquaintances has over 25 Searings and over 20 of them have never hit a ball! Never chalked never test hit. I call it the virgin club!
These cues are members!

I do have another nicer mahogany Scruggs Titlist cue just like this cue that I am thinking of selling after the first. I traded this cue and another for a nice signed Scruggs cue that is loaded with ivory and Bushka rings with ivory.
Lost my butt, had to have it! Sound familiar? I always loose money on cues on a yearly basis. My collection grows. My wallet shrinks. How my wife just smiles I haven't a clue! At least I try to pair down.
