Tim Scruggs Wrapless Cue for sale

It can weigh less.

The Ebony front Cue I posted has full shafts. It also can be weighted up or down. I played with this Cue today. The shafts are as stiff as a full shaft.
Thanks for looking,
Nick :)

I love Tims cues and they are amazing players. Though I just don't see how a solid BEM cue could cost anywhere near 2000. That is just my personal opinion, I do not want to offend anyone. If it had a point or two then I could justify myself paying that.

We all Love Ya, Nick!

This is an Excellent Cue !!!

One of mine is similar, and it's one of the best hitting cue that I've ever had!

And check out the AAA Birdseye...WOW !!!

I never posted specs.

They are two Ivory ferrule shafts 12.4 and 12.75 mm
Cue weight is 18.75 ozs.
The Cue can be reweighted up or down at least one ounce.
Thank you,
Nick :)

Thanks for the negative rep.

Nick, thanks for the negative points.. As I stated in the post. I was not "knocking" the cue I was not bashing you. I was merely stating how I do not understand how anyone could justify 2000 for a plain ass cue. I saw the original post "blonde cue" where you defended the cue when you got it by saying how the front and back were made with different cores and some "superr" wood from a guy that has the best eye in thr business for wood. And it's like a custom truck with a 427 blown. Ya right even that has a paint job.
I was not saying anything on you for asking this price. You only want what you paid I guess. I'm saying how could a well known builder like tim justify a cue that has some nice BEM and that is it.. Don't care how it's built..for 2000$!! If you are going to go for the cue that makes the claim of better performance, buy a predator p2/p3, at least they proved it with using 20/30 spiced piececs cored. And hey, it's less money plus you get a z or 314.
Giving me a bad rep for what I said earlier, was just juvinile. I hear you are a stand up guy and good seller ect ect. But I'm pretty sure that true colors show quick when you give me bad rep for simply stating what I saw, and on top of it, if it is such a great built cue with such amazing wood, why are you selling it already?? Idk grow a pair and don't get ur panties in a bunch over something small someone says.
How about a simple response of why it cost how much it costs and why you feel it is worth what you are asking. But doing what you did makes me think that you do not have confidence in the cue. I'm sorry that I ,respectfully, spoke my mind on this cue. Now I'm just saying what I see. And it's a whole lot of nothing for a ton of money. Good luck with the sale!!

You don't speak your mind negatively about price in another guy's For Sale offering here at AZ. Those the the forum rules, not Nick's rules. Nick neg repped you for being a lout that doesn't know the rules.

Maybe you want to take a look at the sticky, learn how to act. and come back and apologize.

Thanks

Kevin

Funny thing

I sold the last one of the four for $1800. And I was wrong Mike only completed 4 of these. The 5th Cue was unfinished.
I like this Cue more than the other one piece Cue that I sold for $1800 because the wood is so clean. The last one was stained darker.
I am not taking offers on this Cue.
If you want it just call And thank you Mr Kevin.
How many veneer Cues are out there? How many sneakies are out there? There are 4 of these and this one to me is the finest. It feels so much like my Cochran as far as balance and hit it is kind of foolish to sell it.
But I do have 3 Cochrans. And Mike did build this monster. I take pause and decide if goes it will not go cheap. After all it isn't like I am getting anything out of this.
Thanks again Kevin,
Nick :)<<< Known to donate

Apparently, you are asking for a price that I consider ridiculous.

I'm formally withdrawing my offer to buy.

Thanks for your time, Nici.

While I tend to agree with you, I must follow your logic and say it must be okay to red rep Nick for excessive bumping which is also against the rules. Perhaps Nick should also look at the sticky. He bumped twice today and had a double bump after it was originally posted.

I think the price increase is over the top. But if I were a rich man, I might buy it anyhow. I do like this cue for some reason. I am curious as who will buy it if he does not pull it off the market first.

One beautiful birdseye.

Funny thing about one piece Birdseye cues they are rare because the chances of having it stay straight during and after construction is a lucky proposition and a lot of cue makers know this.Tony at Blackboar decided to make 10 one piece cues last year (no core) birdseye and tiger maple after all the work only 1 blank made it through the processes (that's 9 cut up for parts). Not a money making venture. But that one cue is gorgeous, only a few have seen it. There is 5 Scruggs so when it comes to price these cues are not cheap.

Talk about a nice cue....bet it looks much better in person. I always liked the Scruggs cue with his modified radial pin....they all hit very sweet. This is the first that I've seen.

I remember Eric at Sugar Tree saying that it much harder to built a one piece cue because you have to select the right wood to generate the hit since you can't adjusted the weight and balance like you do on a cue with a handle.

GLWS!!
