Tim Scruggs__$3000 Shaft have both a little roll but playable,,13mm with ivory F, I bought this cue from Kenny (fourkingscues) maybe a month ago.

FYI, my 4 point, 4 veneer hoppe style cocobolo cue is worth about 2k with no inlays. This is great price for this cue, in my opinion, of course. No bullits fired.
i obviously do not understand how cues are valued or how to behave in a forum
i casually look thru the various sections relating to cues and to me $3000 is getting into the serious price range of cues
again im showing my ignorance because i know cues can go for much much more.
my question was really for me to learn about what makes certain cues expensive
if i offended anyone or my question was inappropriate i appologize.
im sure for the people who will spend that kind of money on a cue they realize the value and why its worth that amount

It has something to do with the maker is no longer in the business.
Some cue makers are more sought after than others and that is what makes the price Demand and quantity availiable.
This beautiful cue is still for sale; doesnt mean the price is wrong just means people dont want to spend that much.

This is a great Scruggs player from what I can see, you can't beat a radial pin for play ability.Like all older cue some get a slight roll in the a shaft or two, no big deal.I If you like the look of this Scruggs and if it's not all dented up the price is great.
