I dont know how to do the wei table thing but i would just force follow through the white and double the rail back up tablefor the red. Easy peazy and fun!

There are many solutions to this position. Doesn't mean there are many GOOD solutions :)

CueTable only lets you put 9 in a series, so...

Here are the first 9 obvious ones:

series 1

And here are another 7 (Bill might be thinking of the first one here):

series 2

Hint at 4:00PM EST

Everyone; I'll give you a hint that should eliminate many options.
BIll Smith "Mr3Cushion"

Robert; All very good idea's, but not the shots I shoot normally.
Bill

Here are another 4:

series 3

How much of the left side of the white can you see? Can you get to the rail for a ticky from the white? Or how about enough of it to play the kiss in the 2nd diagram here?

The 4-railer off the red is pretty easy if you're comfortable with thin hits.

The force follow double the rail is very sensitive at that shallow of an angle. Doable, but certainly not easy peazy! Definitely fun, though :)

This does remind me that Bill has been bragging a bit about his powerful stroke on older equipment lately on the forums, so maybe he's thinking the force follow natural is a hanger. :) It sends the white twice around the table for position and safety.

So are you asking what shot you would shoot in an important game, or just a fun shot in the position?

Your hint about looking at the post title suggests it might be a time shot ("TIME to have a little fun".) If so, would you really play a time shot in this position needing 1 against Blomdahl?

Robert

Robert; Once I reveal the shot, you'll see it's simplicity ,all the shots that have been presented so far are somewhat exacting, this shot is not.

CueTable Help

I have no idea why it transposes to a pool table, maybe the machine knows I have never played any 3C in my life. LOL

As Promised a Hint

Well Billiardist's; I see everyone needs a LITTLE hint, the shot that I play, is NOT a RAIL FIRST, it is BALL FIRST!!!!!!

IF you are inebriated enough to play this shot, you might as well lay claim to playing position off it too...:eek::)
