tip question

just starting to do my own tips again, only because everyone around here has no idea what they are doing. the question is what type of glue works best for you? the stuff i used to use i can no longer buy, so ive been using gorilla glue. the only problem is that it takes 3 hours to dry. i want something thatll hold up, but dry quickly.

Duro brand Super Glue Gel, TiteBond Gel is my second choice. Loctite 454 is what many use and I am sure it is very good. The most important part is, it has to be Gel.
All of the ones I mentioned are made by Loctite Corp. ;)

I use the glue from tiger products! Its a little more expensive but in the 2 years since I switched to using it I have never had a tip fall or pop off!!
 
Loctite Super Glue! Ready to be worked in minutes and play right after that!
It can be purchased at almost any local store and is fairly cheap!

Ditto! I really like this glue for tips and everything else you could ever want to glue. Best of all the container does not clog. It's good to the last drop. Available in grocery stores too.
 
FWIW, I use a rubberized CA which is made for withstanding the shock that a tip is going to experience.
