Hi
I want buy one tool to maintenance of my tip 11.75mm Kamui Black SS.
What it´s better?
I see ulti-mate tool, 5 in 1... It´s good? Burnisher works on tips 11.50 and 11.75mm???

Thanks

I like the ultimate, but burnishing at that small diameter is "close" to too small. They have a tapper that does the same thing Tony mentioned, scuffs the tip without grinding the tip.

Best tip tool, imo, is the Last4Ever tip tool that joelpope makes here on Azb.
Inexpensive, well made, and lasts FOREVER! :D jmo

There's nothing better than a lathe. That's for sure. But this tool will be excellent for "In the Field Mushroom Emergencies" not to mention the rest of the tool for any occasion.

You might try masking the ferrule for protection. When you see the tape being removed, take it off and re-apply a new piece.

The Burnisher/Scuffer disk would be your everyday walking around tool. I'd get one of these but already have that covered.

No problem Larry. Next time you are over in Orlando I'll give you a demo.

Actually, I use my lathe for all my tip maintenance but for a quick touch up while in the pool room or for folks without access to a lathe it gets the job done pretty well. Takes longer to get the same result.

can I pick of of these up at the DCC?
Because of the crazy markups I don't do the wholesaler - retailer routine. Wholesaler wants to double the price to the retailer who then doubles the price to the end consumer... anyone want an $80.00 tip tool?

The only place to get them is on line at last4ever.com

thanks Joel. ordered my last4ever tool Friday, recieved it today
