Can az help me with info on tips and secrets to good breaking and what to look for in the rack

The secret is thousands of hours of practice breaking and racking. Numerous roadblocks, constant revision, research and self doubt. Then you start breaking like god and everyone thinks you were just naturally born with it.

Thousands??????

Prompted response followed by veiled insult.

Thousands??????

I was exaggerating for dramatic effect. I was born with a monster break so I wouldn't know.

ps if someone could insult me I can respond and get to 400 posts, sweet!

C'mon Joey... every year the hourly attendance clock clicks over relentlessly. I am sure that you have logged close to the 1K mark at the breaking end of the table... even if you are now building up your rod casting hours for a while...LOL.

PS @Jesse. You are lacking hair, your picture makes you look like you have a bad back and if you play with one hand you might actually be disabled.
Not sure if that qualifies as an insult but go for broke responding buddy :grin-square:

Jesse knows I was just bustin his balls but while I have logged far more than a thousand hours of playing pool, I surely haven't practiced breaking the balls for thousands of hours. Maybe that's why my break is so inconsistent. :D Now that I think about it I might log close to a thousand hours a year of playing pool. Maybe I'm playing too much pool and that's why my game sux so bad.
