Titlist Conversion

Lightly played with Titlist conversion. Conversion was done by former 14.1 world champion Bobby Hunter. It is rare for him to do conversions so this is a unique cue. The original Titlist used was one several found recently and had never been played.

Veneers are bright and clear. The wood on this cue is beautiful. Cue is solid and plays great like all of Bobby's cues.

Shafts are of premium maple, each weighs 4.1 oz and are 13mm. Ferrules are LBM.
Pin is 5/16x14 piloted ss, butt cap is ivory and butt weighs 15.3 oz.
Cue is 90% +. No dings or scratches, just a little blue on the shafts from play. Tips are Sumo and Elk Master(pressed)

1x2 Its George comes with it. Case is clean and in excellent condition.

Asking $1200/BO for cue and case.

I love Titlist Cues, and that is a very nice example. Sorry you have to sell it.

Good Luck with your sale

Could you post a close-up pic of the forearm like you did with the butt sleeve?

Thanks,

Randy

Nicely done! Is Bobby's logo or signature anywhere on the cue?

Dave

Hi Dave;

No, his logo is not on this cue. He doesn't use his signature on any of his cues. I know he did the conversion and I can get verification from him if someone wants it.

Mike

I remember every detail of all three of the Titleists before AND after the conversions. Bobby has only done three and said he won't do any more. At least not for anything approaching this price.
Out of all the Hunters I've had, held, or played with, these were the best players by far, and felt different that anything else.
I'd say that they have built in automatic, but I DID miss a four rail kick at Hardtimes on table 6 the day they came in from Bobby.
Bobby also didn't put the logo on these for two reasons.... he didn't build the butt, he made a conversion, and he said he thought it would detract from the cue and take a chance on chipping the ivory. Inlay wouldn't hold right like in his phenolic buttcaps

I had a chance to hit a few balls with this Bobby Hunter conversion and without a doubt it is among the best steeled jointed cues I've ever played with. This cue s monster player. The only reason I did not get this beauty was because I had payed for my SW.
Mike this should sell fast. The price for this cue includes a mint It's George case, super nice as well

I'm in Shock!

I cannot believe this is still here! The best playing Bobby Hunter out there, and one of three ever made, and it's here long enough for a price drop?!?!
If it's still here when I get done with these jobs, it won't be after that-
That is an INSANE price for one of Bobby's cues WITHOUT points or ivory. He charged more than this for the conversion when we sent him the cues!
Pm me your number Mike, I have a different phone and lost alot of numbers-
