Titlist conversions

Been thinking of having a conversion done. What are the ideal dimensions for such a project? Has anyone seen any here on AZ recently that would do the job well?

I like the ones that I do to be at least .860 at the joint area and 1.280 at the end of butt cap 30 in long.

How many thou over your taper size is that?

it is about .030 over my size that I use. Providing that the butt is real close to straight.

i just today got a rosewood fullsplice titlist back from ryan(RATCUES) at muellers. he did an astounding job on it. it had: shrunken joint rings with spaces between them, brass joint, makeshift cutty hunk wrap to replace the red/black nylon wrap(hideous), very ugly butt treatment, rosewood was good, ring were major ugly.
ryan redid the joint and rings with rings to match schon shafts, SS joint, brown croc leather, white butt cap with a plastic bolt to reduce weight.

ryan managed to get rid of the compression caused by someone just under the brass joint. the whole shooting match looks great and i am glad/elated, actually, that i sent it to him.
