By the way, I have been back on 1P. org, for quite some time now..Those guys are really hung up on WWYD's, and I don't care for them at all..Hence, I don't have much to say over there, unless somebody croaks, or has a birthday !

have you ever seen someone get shot in the face in real life? It's not a pretty image to witness. It's not like the movies where they jump 100 feet back! Shame, instead of all the bullshit i really believe you can add some one pocket knowledge over here. Please try to think of some things a one pocket player should know or work on. Or any other advice you might have

I like reading SJDICK posts too.
I know this sounds bad, but he is old enough to have actually SEEN some of the old timers, and gives perspective from that generation to the current generation.
Just wish he would post more.

Joe, I am very appreciative, that there are those like yourself, who think I could help their game, and I would be more than happy to do so, but please let me explain !...I just don't believe this is the proper medium to do that !.. There are so many different facets, to playing the game of one pocket, that even one on one instructions, on a pool table, would take many hours, days, or maybe even years to accomplish anything worthwhile !
I have worked, face to face, on a live pool table, with guys like Appleton, Frost, Bernie, and Lenny (and many others)..And even with their exceptional pool skills, I found I could only impart a very small percentage, of the intricate one pocket knowledge, that I have accumulated over the years !
I hope this doesn't come across as 'bragging', but I think if you asked any one of them, they would tell you that there is definitely no way, to teach ANY game of pool, especially one pocket, by two dimensional diagrams, DVD's, or tons of verbal instructions, understandable or not !

I did save a few bucks though....At the last minute, I laid 2 to 1, Amer. Phar., did not finish 'exactly' 2nd ! (sorta like hedging my bet).. Unfortunately, I didn't have too many takers at that !.. Sooooo, laptop for sale..cheap !
PS..The only thing I do worse than handicap horses, is make bad games at 1Pocket ..CJ, you got a ball ! (21/20)..
