To those of you who are curious as to what happened with the Lucasi Warranty Post

There was apparently some miscommunication on both ends (between myself and the sales manager at Cue and Case Sales). Everything has been sorted out and they have taken care of me and corrected the situation we had. Thank you to Wesley Bond at Cue and Case and to Nielsen's Billiards as well! I just wanted to make people aware as to the outcome of the situation.

Glad it got worked out to your satisfaction. I hated to see the Lucasi name get "dragged through the mud" by some because of a miscommunication. I have two Lucasi's (one is my wifes' cue) and they are darn good playing cues for the little amount of money I spent on them.

Ditto this.

Perhaps you can post the resolution in the original post, as well, so that anyone reading that one knows that it ended well? (Don't think that old posts won't ever be seen again... they get dredged up all the time.)

Maybe you have.

Glad it worked out, for all concerned.

I had mods delete the old post. There were some exchanges back and forth on both ends and it was unnecessary to let it linger. At least that's what i felt. The important thing is that everything has been made right.

I am not surprised at the outcome.
Given the opportunity, many companies go beyond the required concessions with regard to customer service. It helped to have a person (Wesley Bond), to deal with, rather than a "company".
Kudos to Wesley Bond, and to Lucasi.
I am very happy that it worked out to your satisfaction.

Nicely done.

Now we just gotta do the bumpity-bump every now and again so that folks that saw the old thread see this one, and know how it turned out.

Nice to see it all get worked out.

Good Company

I was quite sure they would take of this for the better of the customer as I had posted in the previous thread. This is also the 1st time I have seen a claim go back to them but from any dealings I have had they have been nothing but A1. And after the time frame involved with the product filing a claim I would say not only does Lucasi make a fine product but stands solid behind their warranty. Good to see. Kodos to Lucasi, cue & case, and Wes Bond.

Can you explain (in so many words) what happened and what was the outcome? Thanks!!

I'd rather not bring up the whole matter again. So to keep it short i will give you the cliff notes version.

Basically there was a prob with a cue i bought 2 years ago. I didn't take care of the issue immediately, i waited 2 years until it really bothered me to take action. I thought it was a defect, the company did not. After initial miscommunication over the whole matter, apologies were made and a middle ground was reached. End of story. :D

Good news, all around.

And stand-up of you to come hear and set the matter straight, after several pages of discontent in the earlier thread.

It's good that everything worked out but I am completely against the moderators ever deleting threads. When posters start them they should be willing for them to be kept forever. JMO, of course.

It doesn't seem proper for a poster to use this forum to get differences settled and then for the thread to disappear. If the OP didn't want it to stay permanently he shouldn't have brought it here in the first place. Again, JMO.

Thankyou for posting the outcome.
A positive result is always good for customers, but can also be good for vendors as well.
