They say people would go out of their way to watch Tom play. He finds or creates a shot and goes 8 and out. A great player and 1st class gentleman. His book is the one to have. He took his time to make sure it covered as much as possible. Nothing like it and destined to be a collectable someday. They are not mass produced. Tom is 1P's ambassador. He was born for it.

Thank you for you nice comments. I did write the book. Every word and every situation came from the experiences I acquired over nearly 50 years of competing at this great game.
So far I have not produced a complete DVD I wish to sell at this time but I'm working on it.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Tom for a few years - I was too stupid to play 1pckt so I missed a helluva opportunity to learn from one of the best. Now all I wanna watch is 1 pckt, live and learn i guess.
Can't wait for the DVD's, might have to come down and pick it up in person. :thumbup:

It sure is nice to see how much your wisdom nuggest are appreciated, Tom.
Tom has always been one of the most generous people I know. As far as pool goes, he has alwasy been top echelon, especially one-hole. I remember sweating a few sessions on the rail.
My favorite Tom-Tom memory, though, is the first time we met. It was at Hank Dietle's. You were kind enough to be my partner in pool when nobody else wanted to take a chance. I mean, after all, we were playing for a buck a man. Tom, of course, was the stranger in town. Nobody knew him. I sure did enjoy stuffing my pockets with those dollar bills. One of my favorite pool memories. :grin-square:
